My main problem with Revisited wasn’t the added music, but the fact that no physical editing to the Darth v Obi fight itself was done.
Actually, the fight is heavily re-edited in Revisited.
Oh, I was probably too busy paying attention to the new rotoscoped lightsabers then, ha ha.
When Vader hand gestures to open the elevator door on the Endor moon, he instead accidentally force pulls one of the troopers guarding the elevator into him, sending him + the trooper over the edge of the landing pad. Luke (now embarrassed) walks up to the elevator, by the time Vader gets back on his feet he sees the shuttle already leaving without him.
I might be one of the few people in this universe who actually likes non purist additions by adywan like the emperors theme on the Death Star or the new music for obi vs Vader.
And by the end of the week, I’ll throw up my edit. I think of it more like a hybrid though, borrowing the best elements of all edits for a seamlessly improved experience like what the recent AOTC Sanded Down edit was.

Prowse and Guinness had to work with very fragile props and so the scene suffered from that. It still baffles me to this day Lucas had no motivation to edit the fight in a way that would at least improve the choreography. If I had the software and time, that scene would at the top of my list to fix.

In all seriousness, This actually sounds like a pretty solid idea, I love how you aimed for one specific demographic and that makes it even funnier to me.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this edit, I like the idea of Anakin intentionally killing Sebulba, foreshadows quite a lot. However the music could definitely use a change, another thing I would change would be how Sebulba’s death is executed, here’s how I might’ve done it:
*Anakin + Sebulba have they’re scuffle as usual
*Sebulba’s Pod goes out off control, pod impacts ground at high speed
*Cuts back to a close up shot of Anakin, in the distance behind Anakin we see the explosion of Sebulba’s pod. Anakin maybe even grins slightly (As if, A. he’s glad Sebulba’s dead, or B. He’s simply happy he’s gonna win the race or both lol)
I would make video to demonstrate this, but I can’t since I’m stuck with iMovie so the demonstration wouldn’t be very effective.
