Subtitle greedo with outrageous imperialscum quotes
I think Frink’s already doing something similar to that

This kind of stuff makes me wonder why nobody has ever made a Backstroke of the West style edit for the other movies. Dubbing the original dialogue with the butchered english would also be a plus, imagine the possibilities.
“The use of Wish Power See!”
“Your presence here with that airship? You very bold!”
“Wish Power is big with him”
why youtube
Subtitle everything so in the end Vader reveals to Luke the entire war was just a social experiment to see if Luke would tap into his force abilities and become an agent of the Empire and everything was just a big misunderstanding.
THE RABBIT HOLE GETS DEEPER AND DEEPER
I couldn’t find a good song to fit with the Star Wars theme, so I guess I’ll just use the official Star Wars score.
By good song do you mean a main title theme? The ending music to the 1977 Making Of doc has a pretty neat rendition of the main theme which sounds like something you’d hear on a 60’s TV show https://youtu.be/FSuDjjlIPak?t=2888
EDIT: Nevermind, found out you wanted something with lyrics my bad
…I have realized the fatality of my mistake, Someone eat me.
That sounds oddly kinky
Found some footage of Richard directing on set:

I don’t know everything, so make of it as you will.
Sadly, it was very smooth.
Ubisoft was weird as usual, but nothing incredible.
:c
I missed a majority of E3, were there any embarrassing moments worth mentioning? At this point I barely watch E3 for the games anyway.
Some more art by Noble6 on DA
I’ve been playing around with Snoke, and I’m not too happy with this, but I though I would share it so I could get some feedback:
I took Bingowings’ suggestion of using the original emperor from ESB, and replaced his lips with Snoke’s
All I see is a minus sign with a circle around it
This is literally perfect
Found this on RLM’s “top ten things you didn’t know about darth vader’s suit”
This one is funnier
Ah yes, it’s that scene from “The Backstroke Strikes Back” where Mr. Speaker is on the hoof and warns Allah gold that good elephant must not become a big in the wish power.
That’s MISTER Sheev “gold digger” Palpatine the speaker of the Empire of the 1st choice to you little boy, get your canon right
Also
So I’ve been working on making a legit looking poster for The Battle Begins using miscellaneous Drew Struzan art. Here’s a work in progress
Use Imgur to post stuff, it has way less ads
The podrace scenes sounds like a wonderful idea, for so many reasons.
But, would that necessitate either recasting the yellow pod we see as Watto’s all along? No, in the montage of Anakin’s life, you see him fixing up his podracer and using it in the first race. He never damages it or anything and Anakin owning his own pod isn’t a secret. That whole subplot is gone in my edit.

I just think TPM’s soundtrack is perfectly fine the way it is, adding new music would just feel weird unless it’s an original fan composition. But even then it would have to be subtle, like imperial march was at the end of the credits. Although I’ve always wanted something like this to be incorporated into the prequels somehow: https://youtu.be/fA-aWZ2RKSE?list=PL37AA958F7660C874&t=395
I simply love the way 6:35-6:45 is played, even if it’s just another rendition of the main theme it sorta feels an inspiration for Across The Stars. It was never used in the film though.Yeah I plan on using some of the most obscure SW themes out there, my edit will feel much different than the original because of this. TPM’s OST has a few great themes but overall find it quite forgettable. I like that song, I may have a use for it.
Well alright then. Curious, will you be doing any colour correction? TPM has this weird mix of red and slight pink tint throughout the movie. Another small thing that bothered me in TPM is how faded the lightsaber blades look, it’s most noticeable in the opening scene, some replacement blades to match the OT would be nice. If you ever need more music, I’d recommend the Battlefront 2015 and Shadows of the Empire OSTs

Trust me, such a translator does not exist in the known universe.
Hot damn
Personally I really enjoy the OT music except it feels wrong listening to Owen’s and Beru’s death music over Qui-Gon’s. That didn’t fit so well. Otherwise I quite enjoyed it.
Thanks! I’ll try out something different for his death but I liked the way the theme played over his dialogue and how the transition plays into the next scene.
I for one, dislike the use of ANH music, it just feels weird to hear it in a movie that’s so tonally and aesthetically different than the OT (Granted, TPM is the closest to OT in terms of effects and looks in the entire PT so maybe I’m just being biased lol).
Well I don’t really know what to say, you probably won’t like this edit 😕

Somebody please translate this guy for me.

Other than Yoda’s lightsaber duels, all of the lightsaber duels in the prequels were brilliant.No. The only somewhat-good duel in PT was Jango Fett vs Samuel L. Jackson
I suppose Anakin vs Obi-Wan since it had some emotion in it which kinda helps it
I can’t believe you leave out Duel of the fates. One of the best of the saga.
The best duel in the entire saga is R2 V Yoda from Empire, you all need to stop lying to yourselves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T36q0CNYM3E
Here’s an idea from me, whenever there is a shot similar to this:https://i.imgur.com/Fi0gqkp.png
Put small, just noticeable blobs of blue around the edges of a characters head. Since you’re trying to make this look like something from the 80s this effect will make it more obvious that the actor/s are in front of a blue screen. Empire had a similar problem as seen here: https://i.imgur.com/Ek9Hjej.png
