Always down to help as always Williarob.
ALWAYS down to help (as always) 😉
What do you guys think about them announcing episode 10, 11, and 12 today?
I’m interested in how they’re going to make a crossover between the Canon and Legends universes.
A giant extradimensional sarlacc eats them both, and as they are slowly digested over a thousand years, their respective cosmic juices mix. . . .
Oh yeah I heard abt that too!
Pull the other one! 😛
Ahahaha darn

Listing just ended, did we win?
Nope. Don’t despair, we’ll look for another print.
Haha I’m sure we’ll find another!
The print is currently at $1k. Are we still going for it?

hmmmm how about a 2019 version with the anh and rotj footage in 4K? full 4K version will only be done once we get willow too that might take awhile (raiders and empire should be 4K in a year or so)
Sounds like an amazing idea hahaha
Is there any way we could get the Star Wars prequels in 3D? Because they were never released on 3D Blu-Ray
I wonder, could Williarob potentially make a v1.5 using Dr Dre’s LUTs the same way he did with Sanjuro for v1.4?
Thanks guys! I will try those tomorrow!
Ah okay thanks! Is there a way I can convert without loosing quality, when I convert it looses a lot of video quality.
I finished working on a fanedit and exported the video from premiere pro in apple lossless .mov format. I can’t play .mov on my tv and it’s not as simple as just changing the file extension to .mkv. I was wondering if you could inform me how to convert .mov files to .mkv files.
Thanks!

I’d say Adobe Encore is the best one to use.
Hey what’s the latest update on this?
The Blu-Ray subs are “soft subs,” that is, they’re a separate subtitle file instead of baked into the video. So just use the video stream without the subtitle stream.
Oh great, can I just use MakeMKV to do that?
Edit: Nvm, I’ll just figure it out with ts muxer
One more question, sorry to be bugging you, do you know if there’s any way to get the movie without any subtitles, that way I can use that font for my version? Thanks again.
The font seems to be a variant of Franklin Gothic.
This post could interest you: https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Solo-A-Colorful-80s-Version/id/65078/page/1#1265196, jackpumpkinhead has and AE project that gives very good results.
Thank you so much!
The font is home-made and precisely recreated from the 35mm cells
I’m working on my own little project, do you know what font would be closest to it?
Hey what type of font is used for the phantom menace subtitles
Oh awesome, could you pm me a link?
Any update on this?
So I know I’ve sent these files to a lot of people on this forum, and unfortunately the links no longer work. My hard drive malfunctioned and I was wondering if someone had the (45 Gig or so) “IMAX SCENE REINTEGRATED INTO BLU-RAY” file on hand that they could send me? Ironic huh, I sent all these people files and now I can’t get one for myself, haha. Thank You so much to anyone who might be able to send the file over my way.
If poita gives the OK I can upload a HQ encode of the entire reel.
That would be awesome that way we could have a high quality version. Would it be in 4k?
Hmm ok
