Alright, stop that, stop that. It's silly. It's really silly. It started with a nice picture about a very very very very tall building and a white rabbit, but it's gotten far too silly. I think the readers are tired of scrolling on their mouse wheels to skip this picture. Now, I for one love little rabbits, especially white ones, cause they're cute little furry creatures, although I've heard some of them can be quite vicious indeed... But skyscrapers get really annoying really fast, and this particular picture has long lost its novelty.
So, I would advise everyone to get back to posting Random Pictures, this is the Random Pictures thread, not the "Skyscraper and bunny" thread, otherwise I'll have to ask the thread to be closed.
...... Get on with it!

I vote for the chick with the funny hair.
An American Werewolf in London
The comedic elements in the film felt out of place and didn't mesh well with the horrific elements, the editing was awful, and the story rushed. On the plus side the acting was decent, and there were some genuinely chilling scenes with the werewolves stalking their victims. 4.9/10.

Yeah I always felt that it was only Yoda, Kenobi and Palps that knew the full truth. But now its hard to not allow the prequels to not come to mind when thinking of these things.
Once seen it can never be unseen !

lucas and all his apologists like to regurgitate the nonsense about how 'studio suits didn't believe in star wars cuz they were a bunch of old fogies'. It made for a really cute fairy tale back in the day but now it has zero credibility. thing is, what we saw in 1977 was NOT what lucas described to Fox executives (not to mention he had none of john williams music to set the scene nor ralph mcquarrie and joe johnstons designs). What likely happened was they saw a man who cannot write, cannot direct, cannot work with actors and has lots of bad ideas that derail a movie no matter what good ideaqs there are.
Definately the NIHM one
Jack Nicholson or Michael Ironside?

I'm always under the assumption that the general public (I mean the people in the Star Wars universe) doesn't know Vader and Anakin are one and the same. That it's a dark secret known to only to Obi-Wan, Yoda and the Emperor. Though in order for this to work, you have to disregard the prequels and EU.
When Paul McCartney turned 64, he had a song about turning 64 out there. If Bowie doesn't have a similar song about turning 65, then this thread has no point being here - none whatsoever!
Except for the change of Luke's lightsaber from cyan in SW to sky blue in TESB and the general lack of colour variety in the PT sabers I have no problem overall with how the sabers were done in the movies.
I do think the lightsabers in the post-AOTC comics look like shit, though (they share the PT's problem with lack of colour variety).
I'm not very fond of any of the Alien films, but I did like the mysterious nature of the creature in the first film - Was it intelligent? Did it have a motive? Who really knows, it was all left up to the viewer to think about. That mystique was unfortunately thrown out in the sequels when the aliens were essentially reduced to giant ants.
I really, really need to see Manos. It sounds like something that'd be right up my alley.

I think he has more than enough spare change for this. ;)
irrelevant.
it would have to be done through lucasfilm
funds, and included in their budget. he can't
legally do his own restoration using personal funds.
this is why it would have to be planned out, voted on,
etc. a lot of legal issues that he cleared once before
and also overcoming his personal issues with marcia, etc
will hold it up for most of the near future, i think. money is
just one major hurdle for lucasfilm, not lucas. you're
confusing the two.

very strange. I suppose I can understand a Christian not wanting to celebrate the whole Santa Clause thingy, but not celebrate Christ's birth?
