Does the Thrawn Trilogy count as EU?
^Lucas is just holding him in reserve. Trust me on this one.
The Blob (1958) - 5/10
It's Latin for "tardy".
I don't have a problem with the multiple lightsabers in the PT. What I do have a problem with is the chereography, the lack of colour variety, and how Yoda and Palpatine were forced into using them.
I generally don't have a problem with the EU assigning names and histories to the background characters. Some I like, some I don't. It's when major universe-shrinkage occurs that problems arise.
I liked the Yuuzhan Vong at first - their organic technology and apparent absence in the Force intrigued me - but as time went on I grew more and more disenchanted with them and their impact on the SW Universe. Frankly, I now feel the Yuuzhan Vong invasion should never have occured, and Luke, Leia, Han, and co. should have just lived happily ever after with their families and friends in relative peace and security following the events in the Hand of Thrawn novels.

Makes me wonder, though. We've seen evidence of Yoda giving Luke lightsaber training in pre-production art for ESB. If they had worked lightsabers into Yoda as far back as that, how would George have "upped the anti" for the prequels in that scenario? Might have been far worse.

What the hell kind of palindrome is that!?

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is possibly the best little old art house picture America has ever made.

Why?! Deserves at least a 7/10. Explain yourself! :)
I wouldn't have minded seeing Yoda with a lightsaber had it been in a flashback when he was far younger, and without all that stupid hopping and growling.

^I'll bet the original book is better than any of the films. If so, then I will be a fan, and a true fan at that, unlike you losers ;-)
But so many people consider her hot =(
I thought Sean Connery voiced Ackbar.

SFX limitations at the time may have played a part in OT Yoda being lightsaberless, but there's no similar reason for Palpatine to have been without one; if McDiarmid could have held a lightsaber prop in 2000-whatever, then he sure as hell could have held one back in the '80s.
When no more milk can be wrung from the teat, Lucas will start sucking out it's blood.

Errrr..... ummmmm..... It was pretty cool....
What's with the infamy behind this movie, anyway? I'm too lazy to find out the reason why for myself, so could someone please tell me?
It has hardcore sex in it.
