Officially, yes, but that doesn't keep the nuts who run the EU from trying to fit as much of it into continuity as possible.
I read the story, and I do think "Vanilla Ice" there was intended to be Anakin. With Vader and Anakin having been merged into one character, I suppose you can just retcon "Vanilla Ice" into being another Jedi that accompanied Ben and Anakin on their mission to Kharys' world, and that Vader later lied and claimed to be this Jedi when he returned to the planet following his fall and transformation.
Here's a piece by my favourite comic book artist, Mark Bagley.
Bagley is definitely the definative Spidey - and Venom - artist in my book. And I love the way he drew Mary Jane back in the '90s; I wouldn't be surprised if his MJ was the major influencing factor behind my preference for redheads.
This is the off topic thread where you post whatever non-Star Wars mirrored symmetrical images you want to post. Because I’m such a pervert, I’m allowing - nay, encouraging - you to post images here that may not be SFW (but within reason, okay? No one wants to get sued).
Me first!

And what got her banned after two innocuous posts?
Frankenstein (1931) - 5.5/10
And before anyone comes around to criticise my ranking, I'll just say in my defense that I liked Karloff's acting a lot, and the beginning (wonderfully creepy and expressionistic, that cemetery set was), but the whole comes off seeming a lot less than the sum of its parts to me.
Of course, I was kind of tired when I watched it, and I kept dozing off, so perhaps my ranking would be higher were I to watch it in a clearer state of mind.
"Goodbye Horses" by Q Lazzarus.
=P
It's already been done before, so why not?
^^That's Mel Gibson? Looks more like Homer Simpson and Bill Dauterive after they stepped into the transporter together.
I possess but a solitary inquiry.
Are images of exposed female Homo Sapien mammaries permitted in this domain?
ROTS' status is far too high. It should be on par with AOTC.

Alien wasn't intended to portray an alternate future in which we never progressed beyond CRTs or regressed to CRTs or whatever; it's just that that's what was available (within budget, feasible, etc) to the filmmakers. If you gave the Alien team easy access to flatscreens or CGI-holograms back then, I bet they would have used those instead.
I'd like to say Matt Groening in regards to The Simpsons, but the truth is the show was ruined by shitty writers and greedy corporate assholes. Groening is an oblivious jackass who refuses to see the show for the pile of shit its become, though, so - in a spiritual sense - he's still part of the problem.
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004) - 7/10
The Shawshank Redemption (1994) - 8/10
Would it be so hard to come up with a retcon that says "The midi-chlorians are microscopic parasites that infest multicellular carbon-based life to feed off of their Force energy. Midi-chlorians cannot be removed from their hosts, as midi-chlorians alter the DNA of their vessels, making them dependant on the microbes for their continued survival. Midi-chlorians do not create or channel the Force, though they do have the potential to wield it; experienced Force users can harness that potential and put it to whatever work they desire through manipulation of the midi-chlorians"?
Hell, unlike most retcons, this wouldn't be like cutting a square peg to fit a round hole; it pretty much can work with what's already been established rather easily.
I think it's obvious we have different ideas on what "8/10" means.

In a parallel universe where he was an actual character and not simply a living heavy metal album cover? Definately!
