I dunno. That poster’s got a schlocky appeal to it.

I don’t know what’s worse — the terrible artwork or everything involving the burglar.
On the plus side, I did like the idea of combining Spidey’s & Ock’s origins, as well as the extra emphasis on Spidey’s rising celebrity.
I’ve just jumped out a window.

I saw it exactly once back in 2004, so my memories of it ain’t exactly exact. Still, it has Brendan Fraser and Sarah Jessica Parker, so I assume it’s bad.

But is his head meant to be eaten first or last?
Was I right about Giant though?
Oh, yes. I quite like The Iron Giant. American Beauty, too.
I haven’t yet seen The Green Mile, so verdict’s still out on that one.
The greatest year for movies is the one wherein you become a fan of the artform.
For me, that’d be 2005/2006.
I’ve always enjoyed TMP. The effects, the themes, Spock’s evolution — I can’t find much there to hate.
What is your favorite movie time period? As in 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, ect.
Seriously, look at the movies from that year.
The Haunting remake … House on Haunted Hill remake … The Phantom Menace … Inspector Gadget … My Favorite Martian … Dudley Do-Right … Wild Wild West … Wishmaster 2 … Children of the Corn 666 …

Pretty sure that was sarcasm.
Me, sarcastic? Perish forbid!
A report by the Trump administration admits that climate change is real and that it will be catastrophic by the end of this century. However, rather than using that as a basis for action, they are using it as a basis for inaction, under the assumption that to do anything would be futile:
Specifically, they are using it as justification for rescinding emission standards! This was also reported by NPR a couple of weeks ago. Appalling.
Though I loathe saying it, things like this make me think nothing short of an immediate, significant drop in the human population’s going to be enough to save the planet from global warming, and only a global plague’s going to accomplish that.
