How is "Krayt" supposed to be pronounced, anyway? Crate? Cray-it? Craw-yit?

I haven't read any of the books, but I can see why you don't like the new stuff; series that outlive their original creator(s) and become serialized tend to become crappy/extremely unfaithful to the source material.
All I can say ...
... is to be careful what you ask for.
That probably depends on the age of the hard drives and/or babies involved.

I had forgotten all about that scene.
Gonna add Ray Wise and Kevin J. O'Connor to my list.

I don't...wonder...
But do you calibrate?
Disingenuous mountebanks with their subliminal chicanery! A pox on them!
^I like that idea.

I've always thought it would be neat to have story about a Droid Rebellion. My thinking would be that it's set in the past and ends up being a bit of a tragedy that ends in the introduction of restraining bolts and regular memory erasures.
That makes no sense. How can He hate you when He doesn't even know you exist?
A decent choice, but Saoirse Ronan would be a better one =P

Well the thing that bothers me the most is that Unknown Regions take almost entire left half of the galaxy. And even more so that they span almost to the core.
I mean I do not know know which EU author actually mapped the galaxy. I think he/she is the one to blame. Well it is true that Unknown Regions appeared in KOTOR game and other sources but they never determined its position and size.

I wonder if dark energy, dark matter & black holes fit into the Star Wars galaxy
Threepio walked in on a pair of Kryptonians having sex. Startled by the unexpected intrusion, the man pulled out while climaxing, firing off a load that hit Threepio and blasted him to pieces.
Nothing much about this movie looks or sounds that appealing to me. While I think Cavill looks right for the part - and as a fan of the early modern age comics, I'm partial to a redhaired Lois - I don't like the grim tone it looks like they're going with for the film, I'm not keen on the use of Zod as the villain, I'm not fond of the whole "stranger in a strange land" aspect they're going with for Clark's/Superman's characterization, and I utterly loathe that ugly, piece-of-shit wetsuit they're calling a costume.
I'll wait until more details about the movie come out there before I make any decisions on whether or not to see it, though.
Your ordeal reminds me of a horror movie I've seen. Maybe two =P

of course they don't look silly, they're women.
erm, sorry they're not. They are all men, complete with their meat and two veg still intact.
The Unknown Regions - as they are - are just a lame attempt by writers to add mystery to a galaxy that, for all intents and purposes, has been largely charted, explored, and colonized.
It doesn't work well, and it's pretty much the writers' own faults for shrinking the galaxy down so much in the first place (ignoring the PT's own contribution to the shrinkage, of course), but that's pretty much the long and short of it.
80's-era Clancy Brown would have made a perfect Darth Bane in a live-action production, IMO.

One of the things I hate the most from EU are Unknown Regions. It is just a dumb concept. The size and location of Unknown Regions is quite ridiculous.

btw the late great Bob Anderson did swordfights in the OT and The Princess Bride:

Lucas didn't use him on the PT so Peter Jackson snapped him up to be sword master in LOTR. Which is why the fights in LOTR rule and the duels in the PT suck balls.
