I've been looking at that last one for about five minutes and I still can't figure it out.

Panel 2 Goofy notices that Panel 4 Goofy - who exists in the future - is wearing an extra hat, so he reaches down and steals Panel 4 Goofy's extra hat. Panel 2 Goofy then transitions into Panel 3 Goofy, who is wearing two hats, and, eventually, into Panel 4 Goofy, who is the same Goofy he stole the hat from in the past when he was Panel 2 Goofy. At this point, Panel 4 Goofy's past self - Panel 2 Goofy - reaches into the present of Panel 4 and steals his extra hat. From here on out, the Goofies of Panels 5 & 6 only have a single hat, with the extra hat locked in an eternal time loop.

STII: TWOK - Genesis Planet is born, Spock dies

STIII: TSFS - Spock is reborn, Genesis Planet dies

I wonder if the symmetry was done on purpose or merely was the result of pure chance.

There's also the question of whether or not Khan's spirit was somehow sealed or reincarnated within the Genesis Planet, thus contributing to its unstable nature.

What is your issue with the Kzinti? They weren't specifically created for Trek to begin with. The Slaver Weapon, (their only appearance onscreen in Trek) is one of my favorite TAS episodes.

I have no issue with them per se, and I did like the episode, but their actions in the story were pretty dumb (Oh, we found an ancient device from an incredibly powerful civilization with unknown properties - let's start pressing buttons to see what happens).

I honestly think they were pretty weird until TNG

... which is where they jumped the shark and forever became the stupidest race in Star Trek after the Pakleds and Kzinti.

I wonder if there's much of anything Star Trek related that you enjoy ;)

Well, there's TOS, the first six movies, pre-TNG & ST6 Klingons, Data, at least 60% of DS9, Jadzia Dax ...

I wonder if there's much of anything Dur enjoys. Poor Dur.

Well, there's the first nine seasons of The Simpsons, the original Stargate movie, the OOT versions of ANH & TESB, Vincent Price, a good portion of the Twilight Zone episodes I've seen, Bruce Campbell, Genesis (the band, of course), the first two seasons of Tales from the Cryptkeeper, Michael Jackson (for the most part), many quotations from Shakespeare, Stephen King short stories, at least the first four seasons of Rugrats, many quotations from the Bible, Alanis Morissette (when she's not being overtly New Agey), all the roles I've seen of Jennifer Connelly's outside of the terrible The Day the Earth Stood Still remake, many quotations from Poe, every Nightmare on Elm Street film with Heather Langenkamp, the entire run of Are You Afraid of the Dark? minus a fair number of misfires throughout the final two seasons, pre-1996 Bryan Adams ...
