^The book was better.

===

A Night at the Movies (1937) - 6/10

The Haunting (1963)

I liked it a lot more this time time around than I did the first time I saw it. The book's still better, though.

9/10

The World, the Flesh, and the Devil (1959) - 9/10

Master of the World (1961) - 7/10

The Tomb of Ligeia (1964) - 7/10

Night of the Demon (1957)

Great movie. The only downside were the close-up shots of the demon - it almost turns an otherwise perfectly sublime film into some goofy kaiju film. It's a minor flaw, though, and not enough to bring the rest of the movie down.

8/10

Fright Night (1985)

I would have liked this movie more had the main character been less of a dipshit and/or the movie had focused on his girlfriend/Roddy McDowell's character instead.

7.5/10

I guess this is the point where I make it clear that this thread is pretty much tongue-in-cheek and that a good portion of the items I've listed here I merely dislike/am annoyed by/disapprove of/have issues with rather than outright hate.

But, Tattoos!? What on earth's wrong with having tattoos?

They're coarse and rough and irritating and they get everywhere.

How can you hate post-TOS Klingons? DS9 and TNG took a thinly-veiled allegory for the cold war and basically turned them into one-dimensional Space Vikings with bad tactics and worse hygiene

Fixed.

What the hell did Canada do to you?

It gave birth ... to me! *evillaugh*

I feel like a more concise version of the OP would have read "almost everything and everyone."

Perhaps. But if I went that route, I'd never be able to create one big wall of text, now, would I?

I don't see anything wrong with human sexuality beyond the sectarianism that arises from it.

This list is far from comprehensive, and I will continue to add to it as I remember more things I hate
