Say Goodbye to the Simpsons (UPDATE: false alarm)
Time

I stopped paying attention to The Simpsons years ago.  They don't exist in my world anymore.  I don't get why other people can't do the same.

It's like seeing a beloved pet get rabies and then, instead of being put to merciful sleep, put on life support but never cured of the disease, turning into a twisted, ravening monster that is only alive because the whim of twisted individuals deems it so.

I'm tired of seeing something I once loved twisted into a perverse mockery of what it once was, and I'd literally give an eye just to see it put out of its misery.

I would have liked Nemesis better had Shinzon had an actual reason for wanting to destroy Earth and Data been treated with a semblance of respect.

It was no more daft than Khan's vendetta against Kirk.

If it wasn't for the Federation Shinzon would not have been born to a life of slavery, sickness and perpetual darkness.

If it wasn't for Kirk, Khan would be still frozen or executed for hijacking and would never have met his wife.

I still think it would have made more sense to set his sights on the Romulus; after all, the Romulans are the ones who directly made him the man he was, and he already hated them with a genocidal passion, anyway.

I'm not fond of the way the Great Sith War was ultimately handled in the pages of the TOTJ storyline The Sith War.

Prior references to the war in other comics and books built the Sith War up to be this huge, galaxy-spanning war between the forces of light and darkness that spanned several years and brought the Jedi close to the brink of destruction. But when it was finally depicted, the war lasted all but under a year and consisted of a few battles in a few systems.

KJA was the writer, though, so it all makes sense; he's good at taking other peoples' ideas and sucking all the grandeur out of them.

Where was the Great Sith War talked about before "The Sith War"?

I think there are a few references to the war in the Jedi Academy Trilogy and Empire's End.

The black plague and the holocaust, just to name two, would like a word with you.

But Duracell didn't have to live through that, so how could all those horrible deaths and atrocities be worse than living in a world where you can simply choose not to watch Michael Bay type films or listen Lil' Wayne type music but instead choose to turn your attention to all of the wonderful artists at work today? IT'S HORRIBLE!!!

I see you humans haven't discovered "hyperbole" yet.
