Now I'm starting to expect one of my favourite actors to die within the next couple days.

Sounds very intriguing. I like the bit about Padme divorcing Anakin in particular.

If you haven't seen it yet, go now.
Every Ball.
Though I've been left cold by every entry I've seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far, I'm tempted to see this one if only because of the anthropomorphic raccoon.

Shit, i'm the EU thread.
Good God, people, the thread -- it's ... it's ...

I'm going to go ahead and say Superman III is an underrated sequel.
Yes, yes, I know -- Richard Pryor's character isn't in anyway believable as a computer genius and Robert Vaughn's character is just a carbon copy of Hackman's Luthor. The villains are dumb, plain and simple.
On the other hand, I find Annette O'Toole's Lana Lang a far better love interest than Margot Kidder's Lois, and I prefer how Clark is portrayed more as an actual human character in this film rather than as a mere disguise of Superman's like in the rest of the Chris Reeve films.
I like to think that any mockery I make towards PT fans on these forums is just in lighthearted fun that isn't meant to be taken seriously. I tend to only get disingenuous with PT fans who are Lucas-worshipping zealots, and not too many of them rear their brown noses around here.
There are blue screens and there are green screens, but where are the blue-green screens?!
I WANT THE INTERMEDIATE COLOUR, DOGGAMMIT!!!

I don't know if it's just the settings of my computer or whatever, but that image looks really stretched out on my screen when I go to that page.
Dock?
This is how the EU writers handled everything following the release of the SE and PT. If something new contradicts the old, twist the old to suit the new; don't try to make sure things line up in the first place, just "fix it in post".

I just tried to find what would Lucas or a Disney executive do to make the true Vader come back (not someone pretending to be Vader)... And the best I found is this: try to find a way for Anakin's Force Ghost to take control of a new Vader's armor but working for the light side of the Force this time... Perfect Disney family movie: Son and father (and add the son of Luke to for good mesure!) fighting together for the good of the galaxy ( and in a way they could even say that it is exactly what Vader wanted in ESB...!)
.... Ok, I go.
LOL! I think I'd die if that happened.
I think that I would be so disappointed in the lousy writing that I would go down to the garage and, in a fit of depression, cut off my own head.
Robin Williams is dead?! This is -- I don't know what to really say -- offputting to say the least.
The Genie and Mrs. Doubtfire are both prominent figures from my childhood; knowing the guy who played them is gone is just ... wrong.

I don't have a problem going to sleep.
I have a problem not being able to control my body while I'm asleep.
I suffer from bruxism as a consequence of my epilepsy which has recently changed in character from grinding what remains of my teeth to slamming my jaw shut in my sleep.
Bingo,
If you were heterosexual, I'd make some crude and wholly inappropriate sexual comment. So, in the spirit of equality, let's just pretend that I did.
If you were really in the "spirit of equality", you'd be willing to insult a homosexual just as you would a heterosexual.
Heterophobe!
;-P
I think if they wanted to make an anthropomorphic bunny Jedi, they could just find another Lepi to do the job. They wouldn't need to use Jaxxon, and really, there's no reason why they would want to.
I finished watching two different series the over the past week: Total Recall 2070 and Gargoyles.
While it took awhile to gain momentum, and the female characters were kind of dull, Total Recall 2070 was still pretty good and it did justice to the themes of Philip K. Dick's stories. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled after a single season just when it was starting to find its footing.
7.5/10
In regard to Gargoyles, well, I have absolutely nothing really bad to say about it. The writing was consistently good and the casting was perfect. If I have anything negative to say about it, it's that the main storyarc of the second season dragged a bit. Of course, the positive far outweighs the negative.
Of course, I didn't bother watching the third and final season beyond the first episode, as I've heard the show just degenerates into a cheap Saturday morning cartoon from there.
9.5/10
I'm now trying to finish rewatching Batman: The Animated Series. I began rewatching the show way back in the winter, but I largely pushed it to the side to make way for other TV shows and movies I felt needed to be watched/rewatched first. Having decided to get through it and get it over with, I've started to watch the remaining episodes with earnest and I'm now almost finished the first season; just seventeen episodes or so more to go and then I can start on the second season.
Once I've finished watching the second season, though, I'm not going to bother with the episodes that were made after the series was relaunched with new character designs. I never watched those episodes as a kid, therefore I feel no pressing need to watch them, and from what I've seen of the show's entire overhauled look from the crossover with Superman: The Animated Series and various clips and screencaps I've looked at, I know I just wouldn't like it.

Seeing as how I'm not female, I found it a little condescending. You wouldn't call a couple of women boys. At least I don't.
True, but Anchorhead had no way of knowing your gender when he wrote his post.
In that case, that's what the word "younglings" is for.
Fixed it for ya. ;-P
I wouldn't count on it.
Sorry, but you can't change past history. All you can do is create a divergent timeline that'll run alongside the original without affecting it in the least. =P
I remember signing that book out from the local library back around 2002. I was disappointed that the Vader vs. Deak painting wasn't included amongst the featured concept art.
Change his colour grading to teal & orange.
I wonder if Revill would be capable of doing an Emperor '80 voice after all these years. If his voice has aged significantly, he may not be up to the job.
Thinking about it, I don't want to see Luke as a chaste monk who lives by himself. I want him to have a wife/girlfriend and at least one child.
