Though I'm disappointed David Lynch never got to direct ROTJ, in the end I think it was for the best. Lucas would have still gone ahead and made his SEs, and, to be quite frank, the very idea of Lucas desecrating a Lynch film verges on the profane for me.

I hate that it was abandoned after SW. Had I made the PT, I would have had Williams bring it back and develop it into the Republic/Empire's theme for the PT instead of bringing in the Imperial March which, IMHO, just doesn't fit in the era.
Ah, now I want to get into a lengthy discussion about how I feel themes created for persons/places/things/etc. specific to the OT should not have reused for the PT ...

Just in case anyone didn't realize, I don't intend on ever showing Yoda in my PT. Beyond references made by Obi-Wan (and perhaps a small cameo at the end of my Ep. III re-write), he doesn't factor into this storyline at all.
To make up for his absence, I felt I'd post this crude drawing I made of Yoda when he was a mere two-hundred years old, long before he put down the lightsaber, left the Coruscanti Order, and exiled himself to Dagobah.
