I’d list my ranking, but I haven’t seen any of the non-Reeve films (serials and animated) within recent memory, so I wouldn’t know how to rank them, so I’m not going to.

Suffice it to say, out of the Reeve films, I only like Superman III.

I learned to avoid most on-line religious debates a long time ago. Sometimes you get respectful dialogues between the different parties, but most of the time it’s just a bunch of uncouth jackasses tossing insults and strawman arguments back-and-forth.

Not to mention the mystery in the original film. Is the xenomorph intelligent or an instinct-driven beast? Alien left that question open, but Aliens had to came along and make the xenomorphs giant termites – nothing more, nothing less. It cheapens the creature in my book.

Also, I hated most of the characters in Aliens; I wanted almost all the soldier characters dead as soon as they opened their mouths.
