Sounds reasonable.

Sounds reasonable.
And here I thought it was just an ashtray.
I’m happy for you, Frink.
So. Much. Quoting.
Quoted. Awaiting next quote.
Seriously? You’re quoting my quote on quotes? All these quotes are totally nonthreatening.
I don’t believe for a second that any of these posts are in danger. And I still won’t believe it after they’re deleted.
Is there an ‘endless quoting’ thread in Off Topic?

404 Batman – is he the Batman of Earth-404?
Ask ten people why they didn’t like TFA and you will get ten contradictory answers.
Well, they are ten different people; they’re bound to have their own differing tastes and biases …
Well, if you wanted the kooky sci-fi flavoured Silver Age Batman, why didn’t you say so? 😛
Almost every year now the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducts a group or individual who has absolutely no place in the Hall of Fame. I find it especially irritating when rap/hip-hop groups get in. Maybe Run-D.M.C. could qualify as rock . . . maaaaybe, but still, so many important rock musicians have yet to be inducted so why are they choosing all these non-rock related musicians?
It’s all controlled by sell-outs whoring out to the lowest common denominator.
Come a decade or so, “rock ‘n’ roll” will stand for “rock music” as much as “MTV” stands for “music television” today.
Oh, c’mon. Ric’s totally the sort of person who’d name his son after himself.
Well, orange was my second choice. 😛

What the two trilogies do in unison, is present a dualistic view of the force. That’s a fancy way of saying George didn’t care about he source material which should have been adhered to when making the PT.
It’s a fancier way of saying George cares and knows more about the source material than anyone in this thread.
Nice to see George is a member here.
Nah, it’s not George. It’s Katie.
TCW and the nuEU have more-or-less adopted yellow as a less common third colour for Jedi lightsabers, so seeing Rey with a yellow lightsaber wouldn’t be all that impressive for me. And Mace Windu had his purple lightsaber, so likewise it wouldn’t be very impressive to me to see Rey with that colour either.
I’d like to see her with a teal or orange lightsaber – both lightsaber colours no character in the new canon has used thus far.
Some particular things I’d like to see in Eps. VIII & IX:
Batman/Bruce Wayne is somewhat based on the first several comic issues (no moral code; uses guns on occasion, but not often). He will begin his crusade wearing familiar spandex, because it’s the easiest thing to wear when beating up criminals.
Technically, he wouldn’t be wearing spandex as spandex wasn’t invented until 1958. 😛
Wait I think I get it.

Like this? With the black bar all around the picture?
Yes, exactly.
I’d imagine them to be pinker, but yeah.
The politics was exactly what gave the prequels depth.
Pools of quicksand have depth, too, but they’re also murky, hard to move through, and potentially hazardous.
Everyone shits on midichlorians but midichlorians are a more scientific aspect of the force. Where the OT presents a purely mystical force.
You make it sound as if that’s a good thing (FYI, it isn’t).
Testicules. Those are testicle molecules, right?
I can’t believe there are TV stations which
A. still show panned-and-scanned cuts of movies
and
B. letterbox movies & TV shows shot in 4:3
The latter is particularily pointless and stupid.
Undead Bones has his trollface goin’ on.
^Deliberate creative decision.
One thing that I’d like to see in Star Wars is a villain that’s completely insane. Like Joker/Hannibal level insane
I’d prefer to see a more unstable Francis Dolarhyde/Jame Gumb type, myself.
It was sunny much of the day today (too sunny), but towards the end it became cool, cloudy, and a little bit windy – my favourite spring weather. It’s weather I consider sadly romantic; it reminds me of the past.
^Not sure if hyperbolic.
