I, too, agree that Zahn didn’t have the best interpretation of the Force.
I always was feel that Yoda having lightsaber lightsabers in PT was good, because it’s a younger Yoda, and after his in Ep 3 defeat and into goes hiding he realizes was do one not great make. But it handle poor.

^Yeah, those storylines are pretty great.
Unfortunately, from that point on the series becomes pretty meh, at least for me. DC’s first Trek series – the one that directly preceeded this one – was far more well-rounded.
If Palpatine had wielded lightsabers taken from slain Jedi – using Jedi weapons to kill Jedi as a sign of sacrilegious disrespect, not because he actually needs to resort to using them – I wouldn’t have had as much problem with him wielding such weapons. For example, if he’d whipped out Windu’s saber when going to fight Yoda, I’d have been totally fine with that (provided the following duel wasn’t as horrendously executed as it was in ROTS).
As it is, having him carrying around a lightsaber of his own design as a default form of offense/defense is antithetical to everything Palpatine represents in ROTJ.

The #2 thing I hate about YouTube: all those videos deceptively tagged as feature-length movies but are really just advertisements for suspicious streaming sites. Instead of pulling down short clips and the like which should be protected under fair use, why doesn’t YouTube target these videos?
I’m not at all pleased with the behaviour I’ve exhibited on this forum the last several days. If I’ve upset or offended anyone, I really am sorry.
My 29th birthday was on Tuesday, and all the days leading up to and from that day served to remind me that in one year, I’ll be 30 years old, and then my twenties will be behind me; ten years of my life gone, and none of them have been happy or productive. I’m often depressed as it is, and all this just served to really make me irritable.
