[JEDIT]
Quoth the Cobain, “Nevermind.”
Sorry, extraterrestrial narcotics don’t count. Unless Neglify’s an extraterrestrial. Then carry on.
Continue to squeak, mouse. Yours words have no power over anyone but you and yours.
Satan, to me, is a personification of the evil aspects of human nature – the greed, the indifference, the indolence, the insensitivity, the selfishness, the hubris, the hatred of man. Husezni has shown himself to be a vile, hate-filled bigot with no empathy, love, or compassion in him. In that sense he has shown himself to be a worshipper of Satan.
I would’ve posted this in the self-reflection thread, but it’s still locked, so I’m going to post it here.
For some years now I’ve self identified as an absurdist. I’d consigned myself to the notion that this universe and existence in it was absurd, that meaning could never be found within it. Yet at the same time I also hoped beyond hope that there was meaning to be found beyond this universe, in some pristine realm not subject to chaos and entropy, by the grace of that which we call God. I’ve long struggled to reconcile the two views, but I find I cannot. Existence in toto is either absurd or meaningful; it can’t be both.
Well, I’m renouncing my status as an absurdist. My despair is great, but my hope is greater – hope that a benevolent God exists; hope that They can and do help us; hope that this universe – in spite of all the death and decay and misery which afflicts it – was designed and executed with a purpose in mind; hope when all is said and done, humanity – along with all sapient species we share this cosmos with – will transcend entropy and be reconciled to God in the end. I have no knowledge that any of this is the case; I could be completely wrong on all points. However, I will not default to cynicism; for me that way lies nihilism, and nihilism will spell my end.
I would love to know what was originally said.
“Oh God.”
Oh God.
I pray for the day all fundamentalist strains of religion end. They are unholy and malign the name of God.
You have too much to offer the world to end it unnaturally. I know it’s hard, but you can find a way to come to terms with your sexuality.
I don’t see how he’s entertaining. None of his posts are funny.
I’d say roughly 39% are funny. But of course YMMV.
YMMV?
“Your mileage may vary.”
You’re as bad at ignoring people as I am, Frink. 😛
bear with me here!
You have a bear with you? Awesome!
If I’m reading Fo correctly, he isn’t saying that Id isn’t a bully, but that certain posters who complain about bullies are hypocritical bullies themselves.
The latest set of not-so-immortal words from mother dear:
“There’s only hot and cold, black and white.”
The inevitable fruits of literalism and legalism, ladies and gentlemen.
Watched the first season of an objectively bad anime called Attack on Titan, but gleaned some measure of enjoyment (as hard as that is to conceive) out of it. It could’ve done with less padding, though; the plot didn’t justify twenty-five episodes.
Anyone not satisfied with how Army of Darkness turned out – anyone who would’ve preferred a darker, gorier film in-line with The Evil Dead and Evil Dead II – should certainly check this adaptation out.
“You’re going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.”
Do you happen to know a guy by the name of jedimasterobiwan?
There can be Obi 1

Pride in one’s virginity is not often seen in this post-sexual revolution era. I salute you for your peerless courage, you magnificent blue-balled bastard.
Spuffy sock confirmed.
I didn’t hate it, I just thought it was boring.
That I can understand, even if I don’t share the same opinion. Active animosity, though? That leaves me scratching my head.
I make a pretty mean cheeseburger, if I do say so myself. Perhaps a little too big – I had to cut the patty in half in order to cook the inside before the outside burned – but still damn good.
I doubt I’ll ever understand Rogue One hate.
A girl named Michael. I wonder if they’ll have a boy named Sue, too.
First name “Michael”, second name “Learned”. Someone out there has a perplexing sense of humour.
Bonus question - is there a random SW video thread?
