How the hell can they even talk about remaking it. Any remake is sure to be seen as offensive. Not to mention that no movie THAT classic, should ever be remade.

I’m getting IMDb message board flashbacks.

I am also looking for an appointment with the Doctor. The Doctor has free reign over what the subject matter of the avatar is to be.

No Pokémon, however. I generally don’t like that game and did not know that my current avatar included a character from that game.

100% Pokémon Free Guarantee

Vetoed.

And in the end, he went with the scoop of melting anthropomorphized ice cream regardless.

Sounds reasonable.

He can make whatever he wants, but that doesn’t mean I have to approve it.

Stop retconning yourself.

The Dream of the Giant Fractal Woodlouse.
Time

Once upon a time, there was the Earth, and on the Earth was Man, and Man had dominion over every beast in the field and bird in the air and fish in the sea. Then Man breached the barrier between the heavens and Todash Space, and the unnameable demons which wail and gnash their teeth were loosed upon the Earth, and the Earth was made waste and empty. Then the Emperor Beyond the Sea sent his son, Aslan, to renew the face of the Earth. Aslan planted a Glen in the midst of the Waste Lands, and taking the last of every wondrous and holy creature, filled it. And Aslan set bars all along the glen to shield it from the demons and their minions.

A young maiden – Sarah-Lily – was brought to the Glen stables, where she was put in charge of caring for the holy unicorn, last of its kind. Sarah-Lily, entranced by its purity, came to love the creature.

In the Waste Lands, in the Dark Kingdom, Jareth – Dark Prince of the Goblins – came to know of the unicorn. Coveting the beast and the magickal powers it promised, Jareth appeared to Sarah-Lily in her dreams. He spoke to her in velvet tones, promising his love and his glory if she would but take the unicorn from the Glen and ride out to his castle. Very innocent and just as foolish, Sarah-Lily was wooed and fell in love with Jareth. Fulfilling the Dark Prince’s request, Sarah-Lily saddled up the unicorn and rode it from the stables, through the Glen, towards the outer gate. A stable boy – that’s me! – saw Sarah-Lily slip out with the unicorn and followed her in secret.

As Sarah-Lily passed beyond the outer gate, entering the Dead Wood, she saw Jareth approach from afar. Jareth came atop a magnificent black Clydesdale steed, a staff bearing a luminous white crystal ball at hand. As the maiden approached the Dark Prince, the stable boy emerged from cover. As the stable boy shouted and cursed at Sarah-Lily, Jareth’s spell over her was broken; turning the horse back around, she took off at full-gallop for the gate. Sarah-Lily managed to return to the protective confines of the Glen before Jareth’s magick could be brought to bear, but the stable boy was not so fortunate. With a wave of his staff, Jareth closed the gate then entrapped the boy in a sphere of vacuum, leaving him no air to draw upon.

The legend trailed off there.

Every time John Landis is brought up in this, it makes me laugh.
"But John Landis said! And he couldn’t possibly have some info wrong or have been misled! I mean, it’s JOHN freakin’ LANDIS we’re talking about here!"
I don’t mean to sound mean, but ALLOL!

This.

Well, except for the part where you didn’t want to sound mean.

John Landis killed three people out of negligence. He deserves to be meaned to.
