I watched it with my 14 year old sister who knew nothing about the movie and when we got to the shower scene she said out loud "Well she's the main character so she isn't going to die,I guess she is going to find someone he killed." A few moments latter her jaw hit the floor:)

Yeah there is a reason I buy all my Star Trek discs used. Compared to other shows like Doctor Who they are pretty bare bones in the extras department,the restoration is subpar,and they are over priced.
if an out fit like the Doctor Who restoration team can restore a 50 year you episode of the TV show so that it looks like it was shot yesterday and has the best version of any given scene on the disc you would think a major studio like Paramount could do a proper restoration just on a 30 year old film and release the directors cut as an option on Bluray.

I don't claim to have all the answers but this seems like the best option that we have without going to war in order to stop the killing.
What we need to do is cut off all relations and trade with Israel and give the other powers in the region the same weapons we gave them,that way without getting any of our people killed we could force Israel to go to the table like a reasonable country and stop this nonsense. This would also give someone other then the most extreme Zionists a chance to come to power in the country. This wouldn't require any extreme actions just our refusing to help in Israel commit any more war crimes.
That really seems like the best option we have at this point.

I am so sick Israel getting a pass because of what Hitler did when they are doing the exact same thing?! So the people in the west bank should just sit there and slowly starve to death and live in a geto? Why does Israel get a free pass to do whatever they want? Is I guess these guys would also object if Israel started shelling their town and our military did anything to stop them because if you say anything negative about Israel you are the same as Hitler.

Well yeah but they aren't about to recast so close to his death and I think that was a smart move since no matter how good the recasting was people would be saying he wasn't as good as Ledger and the film didn't need that holding it down.

You know that plan sounds a lot like the villain's plan from The Incredables.
If we are going down the same road modern comics have gone down with everyone being a jerk and too busy fighting each other to be heroes,count me out as a viewer of any future movies Marvel. One of the things I love about the MCU is that it's not bogged down in all the problems modern comics are,I sure hope did doesn't go down that road.
I didn't even know people disliked The Dark Knight Rises,but i loved it and I think it was the perfect end to the series. In fact after ME3 had so let me down earlier that year when the film was over I clapped and stood up and said "That is how you end a trilogy Bioware!". To me it finished all the characters arcs as perfectly as they could be with The Joker dead and it didn't go grimdark with out being all sunshine and roses either and that is hard to do. So far it is the only superhero trilogy where I have liked all three films so that goes a long way.
Sorry if I went on but I was not aware there was any hatred to this movie since myself and the friends I watched it with in theaters liked it.
