I love 3D

That’s me 😄.

“Lost Tiree, lost Hutch… They came from behind!” - Gold Five
Well, I think this should have been the original thread, honestly. It makes sense to have a place to discuss everything, because they’re all connected in some way or another. And even the MCU doesn’t include everything Marvel, anyway.
(Now I feel bad for giving HansiG credit for something I agree with…)
If anything it’s an insult to Jar Jar
That was even more offensive.
I’m inclined to say the same about you 😄.
What are everyone’s personal favourite on screen versions of superheroes you like?
Mine are as follows:
Batman: Michael Keaton / Burton films. Batman: TAS coming in second.
Superman: Christopher Reeve / Donner films. Fleischer cartoons in second.
Spider-Man: Toby Maguire / Raimi films (only 1 & 2). Spider-Man: TAS (1994) is next, but not nearly as close as the previous second places.
X-Men: X-Men: TAS (1992). X-Men (2000) and X2 coming in second. Honorable mention for Pride of the X-Men (1989).
I was just wondering what you didn’t like about Bean. If you just don’t think the character is funny, that would be the answer I was looking for.
From what I’ve seen of Mr. Bean he’s like Jar Jar in human flesh.
I wouldn’t say that assumption is right. I mean, yeah you could compare some aspects of him and Jar Jar, but they aren’t the same character. I don’t think Jar Jar ever got dressed while driving a car to the dentist’s office 😄.
Mr. Bean’s Holiday is really good IMO.
I don’t see how that’s possible, given that it stars Mr. Bean.
What do you have against Mr. Bean? Or do you have something against Rowan Atkinson rather than the character? I think his Bean act is great. The holiday film was good, but I don’t think it’s quite as good as the series.
Even if it was a sequel it wouldn’t ruin the originals. It actually has pretty much the same impact (by association, of course).
Bean: The Movie was really bad, actually. Mr. Bean’s Holiday is really good IMO. The only thing that would have made it better is if at the end when he walks across all of the cars, the last car he stepped on should have been the blue Reliant Robin from the series, and it tips over as he steps off.
Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon - Chicago
Recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with NWA.
And they should have been in there long before. But, I really don’t care about the Hall of Fame anyway (I mean, it doesn’t decide what music I think is good).
A 35mm print of Batman (1989) has appeared on ebay.
A 16mm print also showed up.
EDIT: I thought I’d also mention a 35mm print of Home Alone 2 that’s on there.

How? lol
It’s pretty much copy+pasted from the comics. As is the Joker in those games and pretty much everyone else.
Funny, I seem to remember the comics containing multiple versions of the various characters.
There is no “true” Batman, because even the source material varies, and everything else is just an adaptation that picks what aspects of the source it wants. The Burton films are my true Batman.
The one in the Arkham games isn’t the “true” Batman either.
You’re telling me that you don’t care for this? IMO Elfman’s music for the Burtman films is literally the embodiment of Batman’s character in music form.
Um… no. Elfman has at least four scores that I consider great and okay (Burton’s Batman films, and the Spiderman films were alright), Zimmer has nothing.
Hans Zimmer creates some of the blandest “music” in film score history IMO. I didn’t think any of his work in the Nolan Batman films was any good, either. I don’t know why he’s so popular.
EDIT:
Han Zimmer
lol
Yeah, I wasn’t saying that I would prefer such a thing, but for people who would prefer a look closer to the negative it might be cool if possible.
And the main point of my proposal was pretty much doing the Legacy style thing you mentioned in the first post, only instead of using the second print (it is missing two reels, so it occurred to me that using it wouldn’t work out too well), use the BD and average the images like that.
I have a question. When the clean-up and such is hypothetically completed, Would it be possible to crop and regrade the BD image to conform to the print image, and then average them? This just occurred to me, and I thought if the outcome would be acceptable, those who prefer a finer image without as much generational grain could be pleased.
My personal definition of “Classic Sonic” would be everything pre-1998 redesign/3D jump. I honestly believe that the Sonic franchise died when they tried to translate the gameplay to 3D. It just doesn’t work IMO. A lot of people like SA and SA2, but the Mega Drive/Mega CD games will forever be all I need.
And just for the sake of it, these are my rankings on the games:
…
Anyone else here a Sonic the Hedgehog fan? Just curious.
Classic or modern?
Classic.

Oh shit better link to this post in the masturbation thread.
Oh yeah. It seems like you guys are going to have some great orgasms tonight.
For what it’s worth I think that thread is dumb.
I agree with that. When Frink first started that thread, it made me question who was doing the masturbating.
