3PO may be brass colored in reality, but was he supposed to look that way in the film? They could have timed the colors to make him look more gold, right?

Well, POT: Poita’s Original Trilogy would probably be better. I don’t think they’re on the same stock, either. He’s doing the Spanish LPP of SW (was that duped from Eastman?), I believe faded Eastman of ESB, and of course an LPP of ROTJ. Is this correct, Poita?
Small Soldiers (1998) – B-
There are some things that I don’t like about this film, but when it comes down to it, there isn’t a lot to dislike. The few things that bother me (like the awkward teenage romance) take down what would be a B+ or an A- . It’s not a film that tries to take itself too seriously, and that makes it work just great.
I was looking through an old folder on my hard drive, and came across some mp3 files of this and this. Weird.

This is what I think is harsh. I’d have to say it’s the best film he listed.
EDIT: “Best” as in I think it’s better than the other 7.5 films. It should be 8 or 8.5 IMO.
He needs to be Han Solo, not Harrison Ford.
Harrison Ford is Han Solo. This isn’t another adaptation of some character from a novel. Han Solo’s character was invented by Ford’s performance. It’s not just fan service, it actually makes logical sense to cast someone who at least remotely resembles Harrison Ford.
They just had to cast someone whose jaw structure is twice as wide as Ford’s. 😉

Okay… I’m not expecting anyone to be able to help with this one, but I thought I’d try.
I don’t know if it was a movie or a series, but my brother told me about a scene he saw on television while staying in a hotel, and that he had no idea what it was from.
As far as his memory serves him, it goes like this:
The scene is in a hospital, a man being treated (most likely the protagonist) is in his hospital room. Outside the room, a doctor wearing a doctor’s mask (most likely a villain) is fighting some other guys (most likely some good guys). Then, a nurse shows up and starts throwing knives at the man being treated (obviously this nurse was another villain).
That’s really it. I’d be baffled if anyone recognizes the scenario, but there’s always a chance 😄.

@Trident: I’ve kept quiet on the subject of your situation because I haven’t anything to add, but I would like to say that I’ll keep this in my prayers.
I’m not sure why it matters what translation you read. I like NKJV, and personally prefer KJV, but there isn’t “one above all” or anything like that.

Unfortunately for the past 48 hours I and most of the rest of the family have been laid up with a particularly violent vomit bug. The kind where you think you are going to die, and then start wishing you would.
That sounds awful, and extremely unpleasant. You’ll have my prayers, and I hope it goes away as soon as possible.
The print is very beatup in places, I have been working on some algorithms to help automate the process. I’ll pop out a low rez grindhouse, and a first cleaning pass version soon, so you can all follow along with the process.
Basically I analyse the film, work out some semi-automated routines, run those passes and then look for what didn’t work, and then start finessing it from there.
I’d be appreciative if people could join in and help ID the sections where my routines fail so I can modify them and then finally go through and do a manual pass to clean up any remaining problem areas.
It is particularly tricky due to the CRT flickering screens and fine details in some scenes, but overall it is great to watch a ‘film version’ even if it is in a language I don’t speak. It is a mostly visual film anyway 😃
I’m not sure how much help I can be on the glitch spotting side, but if the previews are small enough files for a quick short download, I’ll try to help out what all I can.
