A saber lock is still fighting as both people are trying to gain leverage. They’re still technically fighting.
I get that, I was just saying that the facts he stated about Vader’s movements were true.

I didn’t compare the actions, I compared the characterization of Kylo killing Han to another point of characterization. Kylo wants desperately to be evil (for some reason), so he wants to prove to himself that he can be ‘so bad’, by killing his father. And as I said, I don’t think their relationship stretched that far in the first place (that’s just what I picked up from what we saw/heard in the film).
Killing someone disarmed doesn’t count :\

Tricking your father into believing you’ll come home and end this path of evil you’re going down only to stab him and tell him “Thank you” is pretty heinous dude. I don’t even think Vader would do something that vile. Much less to a family member.

I guess I did, but they were referring to Han specifically. Either way, that whole opening piece of the film put me off from the start. (Well, after the crawl went by and an actual scene started, I mean)

You didn’t believe in him as a main villain, but plenty of people did.
He killed someone, but that was at the end of the film too. I didn’t like his character at all, regardless of villainy. I was actually kind of annoyed by him.

^I like both of those as well. Though it’s been quite a while since I watched signs, and even longer since The Village, so my opinions may change upon a rewatch.
Just rewatched the 35mm Jurassic Park and the DVD of The Lost World today, because my mother wanted to watch through all four films again (1&2 today, 3&4 tomorrow). JP was just as enjoyable as ever before. The Lost World, on the other hand, just gets worse every time I watch it. It’s just such a cash in sequel; it has no cinematic value.

Every time I see this thread updated, it makes me sad, even without knowing who died yet.
I thought those would be considered other races. It’s like this; Hypothetically, I (as an American) am totally fine with people from Japan, but I hate Africans because they’re negro. Just because humanoids are okay, doesn’t mean it’s not racist. The Human race is a thing. We as a whole are a race. Rodians are a race. Hutts are a race.
We shouldn’t get in a big argument about something like this, but I just thought that the usual term would work fine in context.
