I don't see why it would be posted in all caps, whether it is true or not.

Well, he's the one that posts in all caps, right?

Yes, but if it's true, why would a family member or friend post in caps?  And if it's not true, wouldn't he avoid posting in caps to make it look like it wasn't him?

That's just the thing - If it is true, the family member wouldn't use all caps. BUT, Dayv might be fighting the overwhelming urge to use caps to maintain the illusion. The OP was obviously copy-n-pasted from somewhere.

Strange that the person, that started the thread, knows how to change the title.

The prior history angle is what is keeping  me  us from flat-out saying that this is fake.

No.

I've done a few seconds of Googling, and have found nothing to suggest it can be used with 64bit WinXP.

Maybe one of the moderators knows of some piece of software that could do this sort of thing automatically.

Or is that cheating?

On FE you can click on anyone's name and then click to see all the threads they've started, or even the posts they've made.

Just saying...it's awesome.

I was thinking something a bit like this (it's just a mockup) :

I think I've seen that kind of layout used somewhere else.

The forum was full of weirdos, and it was about some obscure movie.

Fuck it. I re-wrote your entire 1st post:

Hello there. This my 1st time making a thread.

This will help you calibrate your TV's.  Be advised that results may vary, and that I'm not responsible if you mess up your TV.

Step 1. Turn on your TV, and leave it for 30 minutes.

Step 2. Go to post #2, and then post #40.

Note: You may need to do this for each Input of your TV.
