The CDs produced by Robert Folk himself, released by KNIGHTSBRIDGE label, actually manufactured thru Intrada label. 10 tracks, 144 minutes total. The discs are used, in near mint condition, as are the inserts. It is a factory pressed CD, not a CD-R.

OgOggilby - what version of the Recobbled Cut did you upload to Google Video?

I'm watching the stream now and am noticing differences from Mark II (missing music cues, Tack is first seen as Williams intended and not in the color shot Garrett used).

I can also barely see the next page with a sequence listing under the cast listing. If I'm not mistaken, it lists the One-Eye Invasion right after the prologue.

The eBay seller said the "Once..." logo was pasted onto the first page of the script after the name of the film changed.

I wonder if there's a "Thief Who Never Gave Up" logo under the "Once..." piece of paper.

And would anyone risk removing the "Once..." paper and damaging the script to find out?

I asked the seller where the script came from, and this was his response:

There are no other images or logos in the script. A friend of mine earns his living going to auction house here in the UK. He purchased a part of a large private collection of film memorabillia in one such auction. Programmes, front of house stills and several scripts. This being one of them. I purchased several items from him.

Seems like a nice guy.

Even the tiny scans posted here have some good information in them ... check the cast list. Sean Connery is listed as Tack, but with a question mark, suggesting that at this point (in the 1980s I believe), Connery's voice hadn't been recorded.

It's actually "1", not a question mark - suggesting there's a footnote about the entry below the cast list.

Guess what just showed up on eBay - an original script for "The Thief Who Never Gave Up":

Here we have a working script for "The thief who never gave up" also known by several other names including, The thief and the cobbler, Once and others. There is several web sites detailing the history of this film which is far to complicated to go into detail on here. The Script is in a green leather effect folder with the title "The thief who never gave up" on the front . I think this was originally in gold writting but has since worn off and is now just in black with traces of gold. I dont know the exact date of this item but it is definately earlier than stated on the first page when it had a name change to "ONCE" This was done by putting a sticker on the page and is dated 1988. The book consists of 154 pages and is in excellent condition.I really dont know much more about this item but i will be more than happy to answer any questions about it if i can.
