Maybe Anakin simply ghosts Luke.
Maybe Anakin simply ghosts Luke.
In Soviet Russia, movie does not like you!
Six months?
I thought it was more like six days…
Is it possible to see that clip?
Oh, yeah, I found it now on YouTube.
Padme does whisper the line, and I’ve had a lot of other things on my mind these days.
“You’re going to kill him, aren’t you?”
“That’s why I’m here.”
Not going to lie, I’m having trouble recalling where that first quote is from.
Thanks for the links; I wasn’t sure if she made her thread in this forum, and there doesn’t appear to be a search bar.
Nice to see you do, in fact, own a face!
Recently, I’ve seen some videos on YouTube about various edits made by Cat’s Prime Cuts for AOTC.
Has anyone seen the finished edit? If so, what do you think of it?
For a while, I’ve been on the fence about saying this, but to heck with it.
During the scene where Padme reveals to Anakin that she’s preggers, intercut a short flashback of them doing the devil’s tango.
I’d love to get a link to this fan edit!
If you have ever played a 90s computer game titled ‘Myst,’ this novel is basically an origin story of that game.
However, I have re-written it in the present tense, because why not?
Also, with all due respect, I often felt that the names for all of the Age inhabitants felt somewhat cringe-worthy, so I played around with giving them different names.
Also, and this may be a bit controversial, I have changed the main title from ‘Myst’ to ‘D’ni.’ Although Myst is the name for the hub world of the first computer game in the franchise, the novel trilogy of the whole franchise centers around the cavernous world of the D’ni.
Also, and this may be another controversial bit, I decided to change a name, and then change the D’ni name for the same character, in order to shorten the name to provide what I feel is a satisfying origin for the name of said hub world; that may sound confusing right now, but hopefully, you should be able to see what I mean.
I also decided to change the name of Katran / Catherine to Kathryn.
To be honest, I look at this as a lengthy first step in adapting the novel into a screenplay, since I’ve always felt that this story would make a thought-provoking, imaginative, and wondrous movie.
Please let me know if you’d like a link to the PDF.
During the duel in ROTJ, this dialog can be said.
LUKE:
It’s over, Father.
VADER:
Don’t you say it.
LUKE:
I have the high gr–
VADER:
Come here, you little shit!
In ROTS, this dialog could happen.
ANAKIN:
Pop quiz, I’m a show about people trapped on an island.
OBI-WAN:
Are you Gilligan’s Island?
ANAKIN:
No.
OBI-WAN:
Are you Myst?
ANAKIN:
I’m a show, not a game.
OBI-WAN:
Well, then, you are Lost!
In AOTC, the following dialog can be said.
PADME:
I love you.
ANAKIN:
I thought I made you uncomfortable; I thought you said that it was never going to work.
PADME:
I know what I said, but the way you killed those Sand People was just so hot.
During ‘Revenge of the Sith,’ there can be the following conversation.
PADME:
Obi-Wan, tell me what’s going on.
OBI-WAN:
Palpatine is the Phantom Menace we’ve been looking for. He caused the Attack of the Clones on the Jedi to bring about the Revenge of the Sith.
PADME:
That means he’s been behind these Star Wars the whole time…
In the Siege of Mandalore arc, there could be the following exchange.
MAUL:
You’re not even a real Jedi.
AHSOKA:
You’re only half a Sith.
Add the scene of Anakin killing Obi-Wan while he’s about to depart for Utapau.
I wasn’t able to watch that.
Sometimes, I think about adding in a shot of the Order 66 scene from ‘Fallen Order,’ but that has such a different look from both live-action and TCW style of animation, so I just don’t know about that.
Recently, I ended up making a new version of my ‘Revenge of the Sith’ fan edit.
I added in:
The Order 66 scene featuring Depa Billaba and Caleb Dume.
A new version of the THX logo.
I love it.
This is the best version of the film so far.
All it needs now is for the opening title crawl to be a light blue.
In the final scene of Episode I, Jar Jar says, “I have to go now. My planet needs me.” A slide whistle is heard as Jar Jar ascends to heaven. A note appears on the screen that says, ‘Note: Jar Jar died on the way to his home planet.’
Yeah, I’m running out of ideas.
You got me expecting a Superman reference.
I’d love to see your latest edit, IlFanEditore!
After the Original Trilogy dot com logo, the fan edit disclaimer, the 20th Century Fox logo, the Lucasfilm Limited logo, and then the THX logo, there could be this clip:
After every opening title crawl, there’s a character who borrows the first joke from ‘Viva Rock Vegas’ by saying,
“Did anyone else see those big letters flying by?”
