Revenge of the Sith: Blue Harvest Cut (Released)
Time

Using the New Canon Cut by NFBisms, I’ve been working on a fan edit that intercuts with Ahsoka’s journey during the Siege of Mandalore.

I know that a person with the Reddit user name of Numeral Joker made a 4.5-hour cut of more or less the same thing.

With all due respect to his efforts, I feel that is an excessive amount of fan service.

In my cut, I felt that more or less three hours is a good runtime; I did my best to make sure each scene helps the story to flow, rather than simply trying to include every single little thing that allegedly happened during the events of ROTS.

Also, I re-wrote the opening text crawl and made it light blue, hence the title Blue Harvest Cut.

EDIT:

You may PM me for a link.

Enjoy!

My fan edit of 'Revenge of the Sith' (a WIP)
Time

For a while now, I’ve been working on my own fan edit that implements the very last arc of Ahsoka Tano.

I’ve seen one or two other people doing this.

Not going to lie, though, I’ve noticed those tend to be four whole hours long, which I think is WAY too much for a movie.

It’s like fans just want an excessive amount of fan service, rather than a movie that flows well.

In my fan edit, I’ve cut a handful of scenes from ROTS that I’ve always felt were way too dialog-heavy and dragged the story down to a crawl.

I’m referring to scenes like the one where Obi-Wan tells Anakin about the Council wanting him to spy on the Chancellor; with the addition of scenes from the Siege of Mandalore arc especially, that happens off-screen.

I’m about to work on my custom crawl, which is drastically changed from the original version.

Here it is so far.

TITLE CRAWL:

Episode 3

REVENGE OF THE SITH

Over the course of three years, the Clone War has raged on across the Galaxy between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists.

After Ahsoka Tano was framed for an attack on the Jedi Temple, she left the Order, but a chance to capture Maul has motivated her to join forces with Mandalorian warriors and Clone Troopers of her former mentor.

Now that Separatist forces have ambushed Coruscant and abducted the Supreme Chancellor, two Jedi Knights lead a brave mission to rescue him and reclaim peace for a crumbling Republic.

PAN DOWN TO CORUSCANT.

Obviously, I’m thinking about switching the episode number from Roman Numerals – I, II, III, IV, V, VI – to Arabic Numerals – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Roman Numerals are a Lost Arc.

I’m also thinking of changing the color from yellow to light blue, the same shade as the title card that says “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…” Already tried a preview, and I think it looks beautiful.

Also, would it be cool if I used the animated logo of OriginalTrilogy.com?

I saw that in the very beginning of IlFanEditore’s edits. That and the disclaimer were things that made me WANT to keep watching to the end.

SW Prequel Trilogy: Darth Zounds' Cut (Released)
Time

Hello there,

In my heart, George Lucas’ Prequel Trilogy always had potential; I realized, eventually, that it just could have been executed a little better.

With that in mind, I’ve made a few adjustments that I’d love to share with Reddit.
For starters, I shifted ‘Attack of the Clones’ to Episode 1, as well as a few other edits to the script.
Here is that script:

Star Wars: Episode I: Army of the Republic

With that beginning of the Clone Wars out of the way, I edited together an in-between-quel cut from the 2008 ‘Clone Wars’ movie, several action sequences from the series, and what I first thought was the final story arc featuring Ahsoka Tano. Here is

Star Wars: Episode II: Labyrinth of Evil

Last but not least, I love the New Canon edit by NFBisms, so I started with that for ‘Revenge of the Sith.’ To be completely honest, though, there were a handful of scenes that I felt made the story lag. After removing them, I believe that the plot flows much more smoothly. I also intercut between the Siege of Mandalore arc from ‘The Clone Wars.’ Here is my three-hour cut of

Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

After everything is said and done, I hope that these three sources combined provide a more satisfying experience than what we were given in 1999, 2002, and 2005.

May the Force be with you,
