How do you get rid of these stupid quote boxes if you quote yourself (not that many people do)?
First thought is to close your eyes at that point in the movie.
The origanal shot was in a hallway as opposed to an outside balconey shot if memory serves.
Take it back to the original shot?

I like the whole image of R2 but Ive no real issue with it either way.

My nit pick for the trailer is an obvious one. There is A LOT of black screen mixed into the brief snippets of new shots.
I can understand that Ady wants to give little away at this point, but i dont like black screen. The music was fantastic and warranted the black screen, admitedly. But i just wanted to see a little more of the snippets, so i didnt have to go slow motion to apreciate the work done so far.
Im just hungry for more i guess.

Theres a disturbing hint of underlying negativity during these happy times lately.

I said something a while back about the physics of CGI not convincing the mind that its real. Cant remember my exact words. But, whilst scaled models may not be any more convincing, they dont have the on screen plastic feel that CGI has untill this date, even when they make cartoon real life suits to mix in with basic CGI FX now use. Dont even go there with Tranformers!!! If you are making a case for CGI, maybe compare the directors cut of Battle Royale, compaired to the original release. Just not Tranformers, please!
Says it all when someone using a home PC can surpass the effects of the a major studio create when re-releasing a cult film.
Ady is right to use the models as opposed to computer based FX, as thats how Star Wars was, and simply should be (unless they get the physics of CGI nailed). Thats why the FX of the OT has 'until now' ish, stood the test of time.

Sorry, but its no wonder 'other' thread members class us as kiss arses when reading this thread. I prefer to think of us as fans who appreciate what Ady can bring to the OT for the better rather than, urmph, what the SE's gave us. I feel like the SE's has taken the polish off any futher alterations to the OT, and thats why many members scorn Adys efforts. Damn, i sound like a kiss arse now...
