I can imagine! Most guys generally just shave the beard/mustache area, not the whole face! ;)

OK you cracked me up on that one. Im not a mexican wolf boy. ALA Bo in USA. Although some parts of my body, erm...(spread like wild fire!). Thats why i wear these red robes, but even then a few tufts of hair stick out.

What the hell am i going on about? (looks like a bad day to lay off the crystal meth i guess)

See, even the popcorn head has a scence of humour at times.

I wonder if Ady would actually farm out any work, maybe there are ways some of us can help him with the laborious stuff so he can get on with the money shots :-)

Thats the point. I live down the road to Ady, yet never met the guy.

Im always busy, but i really can make the time if i can help in any way. I was an A-Level student in art&design, and top of my class. So i hope i have somethin to offer,

The AA apendix team has recruted a few members since its original idea, and i think a few people would like to push the release date forward, so howz about rectuting us muppets?

D.V, im a little stoked about your latest mock-up, even if no one else is. Do continue the concept. Just for fun maybes.

Well just a quick update:

.............And i've also begun building the new Wampa puppet. Not looking forward to attaching each individual hair on the face though.

Well, u started the idea. I'll give you a hand if you wish as it would be a labour of love.

I got the opposite problem though, I have loads of trouble taking each individual hair off my face every few days.

*Sigh*

ENOUGH about the father/son relationship. Its grating at me now, and is boring reading. Its one of those Star Wars 'physics' we just accept as being part of Star Wars long before the EU or the PT were ever concived. Yeah, there maybe a back story, but sod anyone else who ever got a job and jumped on the EU/PT bandwagon after the movie came out. It being unexplained was part of the intrigue/facination of the movies at the time (to use the pun, less is more-and i hate that phrase).

As a side note, Im a mock up-fan, so keep em' coming (so sod the nay-sayers aswell!).....

But theres bound to be a lot of moaning about 'this concept, or that concerpt' not being used implemented in the final release, so brace yourself AD1. To those, i say make your own flapping edit if you can, and see how many of us really want that for Star Wars!

Man, im so negative at the moment, yet so positive too (purists have flown the nest/boycotted here lately though)! Nice to see you in the underworld though C3PX/Sluggs/amd almost HR-for your wit, but what u doing here?)......;-)

*Something StarWars related* what about the snowflake on Chewies foot. Will it be edit out or not in the final cut? Every time i watch TESB, its the only thing thing that makes the film look really bad is this.

EDIT Yes, I just contradicted myself there!

Hardy har har har har. Im a plank sometimes, but, thats just moi. :-)

Aint that the lightsabre battles with some funky remix thrown in?

Not sure where to go with that one.....

Good work (i guess) :-)

Did you get upto speed with the deleted scences? As that is gem in Empire if it was included in the SEs (a few more scenes after 3PO did that...........and before that, think to montion it???? Motion it, i ment mention it, would have just about made it for me).

Wish we could have had the directors cut of Empire, even if it did look shitty (it could be a hell of a lot worse).

ADDITIONAL NOTE: the whole cloud city approach has become a horrible hybrid of SE additions to me now. Ady, just make it look nice.

So hit Me!

No, you actually should hit me, as me to get me back to real life.......and crud.

(and for those who dont get-it/understand/give a crap.....its just the old .....British humour).

I try!

(EDIT) FINNISHED EDITING NOW

TV question, please help
Time

Just watched the 1080p edition of the Jackel on my AQUOS, then compaired it to my DVD. It looks sharper, yes, but thats about it. I spent a few quid on my set-up and i'll be just as happy on my old setup.

I think it was made to look like normal (SD) pictures look blockey and dull on our new HD TVs.

Its a trap!!!!

(EDIT) We need to stick to buying DVDs and bypass Sonys Blu Ray, if the consumer really counts.

Wait, what?

Alien Appendix #4: The ALIENS Archive (Released)
Time

Review:

Just got a few beers and my copy of this in the player. Its made me a happy man. The visual quality is medicore as to be expected with how rare the content is. But its just reminded me why i class Aliens as one of my all time faves. I missed out on the hype as i was only breaking into my teens, and this looked like a scary horror film so i sort of bypassed the hype. But if i saw any of those early trailers today, i would chuck out a chestbuster i think.

I have never seen a so much in depth view of Camerons early work till now. I thought his wife is a moose (comment below the belt, but thats what i thought). And to think Signore Weaver could of bypassed Aliens so early in her carrear.

Yep, then it comes to the featurettes.

Been to London twice in this lifetime. How did i miss out on Alien War as opposed to viewing the national artwork gallery!

I love the fact not to much was given away.

Is Alien War still going in the westend? Are there any more now(gonna check the web after i've done this), as i had no idea of the concept of the attraction (thought it was some cheap cash in of the film name). Now im going to have to plan a journey with this one purpose, hopefully.

Slightly less excited about Ride at the Speed of Fright as i imagine its one of 'Super Ex Pro Com' simulator rides, like i went on in Disneyland Paris (and Blackpool seafront on a sking thing and a virtual rollercoaster), which are over-enigneered, overpriced, and un-convincing. But the footage is absolutly awesome (to go with DVD's of Star Tours, Terminator, and now this). Better than Star Tours, not as good as the T2 thing.

DVD authoring is always important when trying to make this sort of thing a class above bootlegs, and damn Jonno, i hope you do a lot more stuff on here (i had no idea about the original nistromo design until i popped in disk). I think if it could have been shot it would have looked better than the military style ship we know of (i heard something about that ship being a mod of the pulse rife, but i dont know if thats true).

I got two (edit: three) things new out of viewing this in my life time. I missed out on those awesome trailers. James Cameron is even more of a (risk taking) genius than i ever thought he is. And i need to lobby some friends (or sod it i'll go it alone), for a trip to London very soon.

I just wish i could have added anythin to be in the credits page ;-)

Sean, send a PM with contact details. But send me a PM to say you got it (as that really narcs me when posters request something, then cant be arsed to say THAN-Q to the sender, or the maker. No more DVDs for those who do that there after).

Inrtesting.

I always get the feeling in the C3PO in this tread :-(

Yet, I do want 2 do underground works to show in the filum, under the radar, after my work at A-level art&design years ago...peaked with my own style(then i met a pretty girl...another story)

Each dude to his specialist scence, that cant be a bad thing.

I would image props / even maybe models of sets, are one thing. Stop-motion technology may seem like old hat technology now, but they were using in it filum from 33 till, ahem, more recently, as far as i can recall..(and it took a long while to get to Empire standards).

Morph did it though (nostalgia :-) )

Hang on, no he didnt!

Miff.

Aint having a go at your ideas V!

Just this one reminded me of Star Trek (not that theres anything wrong with that).

The images you post are the second biggest Hi-Light in this thread.

Keep up the good work

QUESTION: is anyone else getting plagued with MySpace pop-ups in explorer every time they go to (whatever) page?

Scanned my system, and flattened it, and nothing came up.

Those who got disks of ANH:R off me should do a virus check as soon as they get the disks, as a precortion.

I have somethin worse than VD possibly.

I looked, and,

Looks very Star Trek'ish!!!

So i never bothered to comment.

(I call it plastic S-FX, as it plays a perpose, yet, does not convince the muppet looking at it).

Thats the diffence with 'us' fans that dont meet on the middle ground!!

EDIT: not that im having a go at the Trekkies.
