Hey all,

I'm thinking on offering up an audio cd version that I made of the Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell 33 rpm record from the early 80's on myspleen.

Would people be interested in this? If so ill post up myspleen and see if i can get uploader status or maybe Rikter will be willing to upload it if i get him a copy. Let me know if there is interest enough and ill bring it up on myspleen.

The international version, which is actually Titled Leon: The Professional, as apposed to The Professional is 10 times better than the US release. I actually always (try to) buy the best dvd available at the time i get a movie. so i had never seen this version before i bought it but since it was uncut and had i think 14 more minutes i got this version.

anyway, there are some scenes probably a little more than half way through where Leon is teaching Matilda how to be a 'cleaner' and the actually go on some 'jobs'

def worth checking out if you havent seen it, especially if you liked the US version

i guess that would work, but the actual answer is something that you dont need anyone's help to accomplish

Well, if Warbler doesnt want it then i guess its still my turn. Here you go

There are three light bulbs in a room, and three light switches outside the room. You are outside, and want to match up which switch goes with which light bulb. You can only travel into the room once, and cannot come back in again. You can do anything you want upon entering the room. How can you set the situation so that you will know which switch goes with which light bulb?

Am I the only one who prefers the old ewok music?

when did the OT make any reference to Tatooine being to remote...that reference was only in episode I as far as i remember, which is basically the source of all the consitencies anyway.

not that im defending the song, i posted above how i prefered Yub Nub, just not sure if that reference is correct, cause i dont remember it from any of the OT movies

but yeah, naboo is never referenced and now plays such a big part...kinda wierd. Lucas def should of had Vader destroy it cause that would explain the whole 'the power to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force' comment he makes in episode IV, plus it would be totally awsome. even then one could argue why it was never mentioned...but it would make more sense.

fantasia was changed?

with e.t. i have the collectors set (didnt pay $80, i get all (most) of my dvds from dvdpricesearch.com ) but if i remember correctly, im pretty sure the fbi agents guns were removed in the 'unaltered' version as well...id have to check to be sure and thats too much work for right now

would you consider a movie altered if the US release of it is cut because certain scenes are deemed inappropriate by stupid conservative groups?

well i guess it was my turn, but i dont really have a riddle, so guess we can go with maddog00's

as far as the second riddle in his post, its house numbers, you know the metal numbers you put on your door.

each number is 12 cents

the number 1 (one number) is 12 cents
the number 44 (2 numbers) is 24 cents
the number 144 (3 numbers) is 36 cents

and providing im right, since i still dont have a riddle ill pass it off to warbler who was the one that really got the cow riddle (at least i wouldnt have gotten it if not for his post)

I think Thriller, or Psychological Thriller would probably be a better classification for The Shining.

Either way, its def freaked me out and id consider it one of, if not the, scariest movie ive seen. (note: i dont watch much as far as scary movies go, im a little wuss when it comes to them )

I dont have that model, but with my link sys in the config web page there is a advanced tab, and from there there should be a forwarding tab.

the forwarding tab should allow you to put a port range that you want to forward, then enter the ip address of you computer in the port to forward it to. my experiences show that you need to start the torrent up after you make these changes or it doesnt show up as having your ports.

(also, with my dlink, this is done via a firewall tab, that has a similar allow interface, if yours is like this i can go into more detail on that)

as far as the manual announce, it basically sends the updated upload/download information to the tracker (thats my understanding of it anyway)

I actually only seen a few of Kubrik's movies.

Eyes Wide Shut, Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, and most of 2001 (watched in one thanksgiving late at night and fell asleep for part of it)

I would consider The Shining a horror film. That movie freaked me out both times I watched it.

oh yeah, post number 200

Oh well.

What router are you using? and do you run any firewall software on your pc (3rd party or build in winxp)

Im assuming you've logged in from that ip address? have you tried doing a manual announce? other than that im not really sure how else to fix the not getting credit. (maybe ask on the myspleen forums or pm xavier)

When Bruce Almighty was first released they didnt use a 555 number, when it was released on dvd they changed it to a 555 number because they were sued by people that had the number.

I also believe ive seen a few other movies/shows that didnt use 555. But yeah, typically they use a 555 prefix for all phone numbers in movies/shows

867-5309 was actually the phone number of a friend of the band that released the song.

Considering how fast you got us the Wookie Grammer version, i think we can let you slide a few days on this one

Besides, hopefully i can finish up the isomix versions before you post this And covers are always a nice addition to a dvd torrent

Thanks again for all this great stuff.

p.s. if any of you are currently trying to download BOTF off myspleen, ill try to seed it (gotta move it from one computer to another to seed it) when i get home today (around 9:30ish) hopefully someone else will have seeded it by then, but ill still add my seed if they have
