This finale was far more then I could ever of expected, with season 3 to be released xmas 2021 and focasing on Mando and Bo-Katan with Moff Gideons actor saying hes about alot theres plenty to look forward to. And then theres big bad Bobba the crimelord to contend with.

I haven’t been able to download this, it keeps saying the download quota is exceeded. I looked at the faq and tried downloading the folder to my google drive as a workaround, but the download always fails. Is there something wrong on my end?
Log into your Google Drive account
Right click the FOLDER in which your preferred movie file resides within Google Drive:
e.g. The Rise Of Skywalker - Ascendant 1080p (FOLDER not file)
Choose download from the drop down menu which starts the zip process that should take around a few hours to complete by which point you’ll be asked to save the file to your desired location.
Just checked the above method still works my end, you did right click folder then download and not the file right?
As cool as it’d be to see, I won’t include Anakin in that final scene for this particular project. It doesn’t feel right for the end to this trilogy’s story or to Rey. Plus, it’s a pretty short shot and even having three figures present feels too short. I’m sure it could be extended well enough since the audio is all new anyway, but I don’t think Anakin really belongs there.
I’m inclined to agree nice idea but when having to choose which of the two Anakin ghosts, neither is best.
We definitely still need to add in as Darth Sadifous reminded the Vader’s castle on Mustafar and the insertion of Coruscant in the background of the boardroom meeting, those are needed 😎👍

Yep Brewzter thats what I was trying to say 👍, it needs some sort of light worping effect on the sabres outine to lose that sharpness somewhat.
OK, I tried to increase the crackling, is it better ? My fear was that on a TV screen, it became too visible but I might be wrong.

When comparing Kylos sabre to Lukes the arcing effect does seem somewhat “static”, Kylos seems to have a kind of extra glow/fire effect which merges the sabres outline somewhat if that makes sense.

It didn’t seem like they added any voice modulation or distortion to Fett’s voice while wearing his helmet. I interpreted it as that he was not speaking through the helmet’s electronics. Which… make me smile in what I perceived as a deliberately ambiguous non-address of the two voices of Fett in different versions of ESB.
Thats great thinking and a good way to have both voices work in lore as we can’t lose Jason Wingreen voice 😁👍

Thats exactly it, If this was filmed as is during a dark rainy nights backdrop then there would be little complaint, but that doesn’t make it bad that it was shot in daylight, it was all done so very well.
… very excited to see the Dark Troopers in full force! They’re clearly battle droids, so those bodies in the tanks from chapter 12 may well be something else, like experiments on Snoke.
That was my thoughts, I assumed initially they were setting up the lab bodies they grew from Grogus blood as the Dark Troopers, but we know now that they are droids Soooo…
Worth a menshon is Anjohans Revisited versions which goes well alongside JJPotters edits as Anjohan adds a darker tone to the early films that were aimed for the younger kids.

If you are sharing that information here to recommend them as potential sources of ideas for this edit, perhaps you could save us some time or direct our attention by giving us an overview of the cuts made by ExpandedUniverses that you think are in line with the goals of the Clone Wars Refocused project? If you are not sharing for that reason, some context would be much appreciated!
Sure but might be worth a quick overview on what was edited yourself to consider things that has already been done, no point in retreading ideas that may not work was my intentions of bringing it to light here. I’m currently going through hes edits but will keep an eye on this thread and only chime in if I can contribute.
As it was intended for kids I find the clone wars very hard to take in (got the bluray boxset for my little ones awhile ago) but in movie forms editing out most fluff its not as bad of a watch personally and if we can get a good edit from it all that lets us watch the stonger canon story arcs alongside mandalorian then bonus 😁.
… The second is deeper detail polish on the Quality cut to refine it even further, perhaps incorporating more radical ideas.
By “more radical ideas” I hope you mean getting rid of the cringy snips, skyguy moments and toning down silly antics in scenes somehow. 😉

I came across a YouTube video this morning on the HP deleted scenes and did a double-take with one of them in particular. The group that made the video must have seen my edits because they used them in the making of their video. No mention was made of them, but it is clear they used them. The reason I know is because they showed the scene from PoA after Hogsmeade. In my edit, when Harry eats the candy, his face turns pink/red. That isn’t in the original deleted scene. That is an effect I added. But it is in this YT video. I looked at others they mentioned and they also show the zoomed in Dudley’s Redemption scene that I’ve been working on for a while. Was pretty cool to see.
Take it as a complement to how good your edits are, not worth stressing over what other peeps do.
The audio additions on these Enhanced Edition edits really adds another level to the them, nice work.
Hal thanks for making the StarWars saga films get the respectful ending they truly deserved.
Your name goes up there with Harmy, Team Negative 1 & OohTeeDee for what you’ve achieved with you edits and whatever happens we will always have the true Hal 9000 unaltered original versions to enjoy from now on.

I like what you’ve done with the sound alot, can’t fault the audio its seamless and you can hear the care and attention put into it but the video quality for a 30gb file is not great. I understand that you was working with a dvd upscale but this would really benefit from Blu Ray video source you mentioned plus the 5.1 is a must for a project like this.
Keep up the good work PJ and hope to see the HD 5.1 version at some point.😁👌

As these are presented as StarWars movies you really should go with crawl, plus as you said you can weave the stories text to your liking. extra effort but well worth the end results 😎👍
