Would it be possible to have a quick scene maybe after the council scene where Obi wan overhears a conversation between qui gon and dooku? You wouldn’t even really have to see them, they could be on another side of a wall or something. And Obi wan is just overhearing. Theres gotta be phantom menace footage of Obi wan walking and then standing around looking concerned that could be rotoscoped onto a new background.

And both Liam Neeson and Christopher Lee have a wide enough body of work to pull dialogue from. I imagine there’s quite a bit of useful dialogue you could pull from hobbit/lotr.

The thing is, they’re really focusing on the future right now. They tend to be avoiding most things prequels at the moment. I think their mentality is “its there. it’s a part of canon. let’s just leave it and move on.”

I see them remaking the originals before they remake the prequels in any capacity. They’ll continue to ride this train of new star wars content until it fizzles out and stops bringing in big money. Then they’ll probably wait a few years and announce they’re remaking SW.

I really think you need to learn the difference between playful banter and personal attacks.

Certainly a lot better 😃 still a little too saturated for my taste, but the colors themselves look good. But there seems to be a bit of splochiness in both the uniform and the walls.

But in all seriousness this is a discussion forum, not a whining and complaining about how Frink inadvertently hurt your feelings forum. A quick correction in PS. Sorry I feel like I do this every time you post a frame. I mean no disrespect. But I think this is probably closer.

I think it’s on the right track, but it feels too dark to me and i think you could dial back the green a bit. His uniform isn’t really GREEN it’s more like olive. A weird side effect of this is you’ve made tarkin’s grey hair almost completely green.

I do love them walls though.

Spielberg made the Indians jones sequels because he loves the character and loves the stories and because the story lent itself to multiple serialized stories. ET does not lend itself to other stories. The story was finished. It’s not a concept that lends itself to serialization the way that Indy does.

Hey look at that. With a little work I actually was able to pull out those magentas. It did make a slight difference.

Here’s the full sized correction. There is some weird thing going on with the magentas and I wasn’t able to fix that without introducing some weird artifacting, but I think this is fairly close.

Yeah I’m downloading the poster file. I’ll give it a shot with the higher res version. Thank you for pointing out the slightly whiter bit in the corner, that could absolutely throw some things off, I’ll correct it and see if it changes anything.

Wow, for a while I thought I was the youngest guy on the forums. Haha I thankfully am at least old enough to have always classified TPM as one of “the new ones”.

I was pretty young when TPM came out, so I only vaguely remember the hype. I mainly remember all the promotions from like the fast food chains having their little promotions where you’d get like “exclusive, limited time collector toys” with your happy meal and stuff like that.
