Look again. It is nice that you've admitted you have a problem, it's the only way we can help you.
I only have one problem! Flunk Fever!
And only you can cure me, you hot slab o' cyber-twerp!
When was it not?
Edit: Well, there have of course been some provocative digressions re TV Flunk's ever-widening rear-hole. Both literal and figurative.
Oh great, dcg, just when I had turned this thread around with pure positivity and sustained good vibes, we're back to this...

Sit stop your porcelain throne
You should really proofread your posts.
Omigod I'm like so totes embarrassed! While I was reaming you ruthlessly and widening your rear-hole while you could do nothing but clench your Princess Amygdala bedsheets and squeal like a stuck ugnaught--you know, figuratively speaking--
Where were you doing that?
Alas, only in my mind. (Something about a bot in a green suit and blue bowtie...)

You win this round (albeit on a technicality), but I'll be back, Flunk! I'll be baaaaaaaack...

It would be nice if you and impscum would spend more time raising your shitty kid together and less time posting here.
JEDIT: Directed at Id, not Fo.
Is this one of those sophisticated "attempts at humor" you're always going on about? Must be 'cuz it's way over my head.
Seems likely.
Zut alors! Tres sophistiqué!
You once again prove your worthiness of the title, le Gran Douche de Off-Topic. Sit atop your porcelain throne, oh witful one!
Never has a lazy, tone-deaf response that deliberately elides the operative aspect of the post ostensibly retorted been so...
sophisticated.
(C'mon Flunk, I thought I was picking on someone my one size here, but you're giving me nothing. It's really sad when ender's comebacks are better than yours.)

Cuz like, to me it just comes off as the embittered, profane, humorless muttering of a pathetic trollier-than-thou wannabe AV-club president who can't formulate a worthwhile comeback to save his basement-dwelling half-life.
TV's Frink said:
I don't think you understand the difference between attempted humor and an attempt to head off a stupid comment.
Well, with respect to your posts, it's very hard to tell the difference between attempted humor and, say, typing while having a stroke. So the confusion you mention is kinda understandable.

You guys are amazing.

It's not a compliment.
Hey-O!!! Whoa! Color me zinged!
And the sophisticated wit just keeps on coming!
You're on a roll! A veritable modern-day Oscar Wilde!

Nah, I'm just a sophisticated program Jay wrote to keep his moderators on their toes.
"Sophisticated" is a bit of a strong word for a bot that automatically responds to posts with hackneyed morning-DJ-style, rimshot-worthy, groan-inducing ripostes like "they have a cream for that."
Let's just say, "persistent."

...I have an itching feeling they're talking about the Reliance master
This is the forerunning hypothesis, by a mile. Especially since the Reliance transfer would presumably have "Han shooting first" just because it would be scanned from physical elements, rather than the electronic house of horrors where Rubberhan resides.
(and, by the way, the colors are very effed in that just in different ways than the blu-ray).
How so?

I've honestly never heard of Star Crash before today...
Akton said: ...Star Crash never subjects us to a towheaded 9 year old Count Zarth Arn constructing Intergalactic Police Robot "L" in his bedroom, so you know... there's that.
What are you talking about? Unless...are you referring to TPM?
I can never tell if this kind of density is a shtick.
Devin Faraci sed:
But in the Lucasfilm vaults there is a 4k remaster of the original trilogy that has been tweaked and changed from the latest release, and that 4k version has Han shooting first.
I have a baaaad feeling about this...

Stop wasting everyone's time.
Ah yes, for there is SERIOUS BUSINESS to be conducted in the Star Wars Off-Topic chat bored!!! Forgive me, your grand douchiness!
But you wouldn't know, so, like, as far as you'd be concerned, the offending posts would end entirely, leaving your Grand Duchy of Off-Topic (to which some refer in a less-than-complimentary fashion as the bathroom of a Boston dive) unmolested by mean, base lowborn ruffian smallfolk such as myself.
TV's Frink said:
That won't stop him from posting.
1.) How do you know?
and
2.) Why would it still matter to you?
Both excellent barbs, and even a literate play on words from ender. Kudos, team. I may just make men of you yet.

The "It was always George's vision that..." thread.
Oh, shut the fuck up already.
And you wonder why no one posts in this thread...
The "It was always George's vision that..." thread.
A pretty good volley on that theme started in a thread on the digital release, but drew "a moment of chastisement" from Mr. Moderator.
The idea would be that it would start as a series of barbs at Georgie-poo about how the massive abortions of revisionism in his oft-butchered movies were (ironically) on purpose, but then it would descend into general absurdist randomness in the vein of the "Chuck Norris is..." meme. E.g., "It was always George's vision that Bob Dylan would play an electric guitar" or ""It was always George's vision that Eastasia was at war with Eurasia."
You get the idea.

I thought we already knew that, Mr. Excitement!
I think Tobar's whole point was to Rick-Roll us into clicking on the automatic-blasting-fanfare audio clip of catastrophe.
Nightman.
I heard that thanks to inhaling radioactive night air, he acquired all of the dark powers of...like...nighttime.
The costume he procured from Tim Burton's surplus vinyl bin in the alley behind the Warner Bros. lot.

Bebop transcends the label of anime. It's just good TV. It manages to be a space western without relying only on tropes belonging to those kinds of shows, and I might even say it does at least one episode for each possible genre classification. That's what happens when a show is character-based, they can go outside of your average barriers.
I just got the CB blu-rays and am re-watching it for the first time since 2000-ish. The only thing I can think of now is: was Joss influenced by this when he cooked up Firefly? The similarities and overlapping themes are striking, but CB was pretty new and somewhat obscure when Firefly was in development.
You could say I'm familiar with its foremost principles.

I love Easter.

Uh-huh, because hunting for brightly-painted eggs and worshipping an anthropomorphized rabbit have so very much to do with, like, some bearded ghost guy haunting ancient Judea...
