This is what I had in mind for the hair -

And thanks for adding my mock-up of the rebel canon amongst the list 005 :D

Yeah, I know. I saw that - in fact I think I asked someone to do this before, and I think it was you :)

Oops, yeah...it is :O
Sorry - might as well keep it blue I guess :D
Well this is my mock-up - and it looks terrible. I did it all on GIMP 2.6, but the ships on the screen look like they were done on paint - so sorry about the crappiness of it.
I think that looks really good on him. With a little less contrast and a bit more of the background being visible - it'll be perfect :)
I still think that his hairstyle should be similar to Luke's in EPIV - but not as long as that (more cropped). He's only about 44 or 45 and in that galaxy far, far away, receding hairlines start at a later stage (Obi-Wan is an exception though, lol).
Bingowings said:I knocked this up last night as well but I had to go to bed, basically the same idea as yours Darth Chronus :
That's exactly how big I wanted to do the flames - good job :)
Bingowings said:(it might be nice to replace the steam bursts with flame bursts for that Blade Runner techno hell effect):
Those are pretty cool Bingo, I took the liberty to just add some flames and only did some minor adjustments here and there (adjustments that aren't actually noticable, I think).
My flames look bad and I hoped I could have made them bigger, lol.

I really hope the shaft looks like the one in your mock-up Bingo, good job.
Btw I posted a (really bad looking) mock-up of the rebels preparing to attack a star destroyer with their canon (ala. ROTS). There's only one rebel in the pic and I really could have added more. I was wondering if someone could create a better looking mock-up. Would shots like that be workable anyway? I certainly hope so.
I loved your gun mockup and perhaps you should drop doubleofive a message to see if it could be put on the list because it illustrates the sort of shots that would put a lot of ROTS style epicness into the Battle Of Endor.
Thanks man, I'll do that now :)

Davnes007 said:I had a weird/brutal idea for ROTJ.
Consider this: The scene(s) from the most recent Rambo movie, where he's using the BIG machine gun to cut the enemy dudes in half....being used in the Endor ground battle !?
Imagine Ewoks getting cut in half....and then Ewoks getting control of it, and mowing down Storm Troopers.
>:D
That sounds so awesome and I'm quite sure there'd be much more brutality if the stuff that happened in that galaxy far, far away happened for real.
Hahaha :) I absolutely adore Prof. Frink - in a respectable manner of course, blerghen whey!
Anyway I read an idea from someone about Luke ripping some controls around the Throne Room whilst he's defeating Vader - is there some consensus for the idea, or is it too much and considered unworkable?

Now THAT was a joy to see! I especially like the record needle sound effect. Lucas, eat your heart out.
Thanks my man :)

Good stuff - what about hearing Ming the Merciless laughing? LOL.
Good glavin! Save us all! With the ruthlessness and the moustache twirling and the wit and the.....uh I give up. :D

:D
Very cool. But we all know that the biggest problem with this scene is that Greedo should have seen this coming from a mile away. He needs to be distracted:
Greedo: 'I've been looking forward to this for a long time'
Ric Olie: Look over there.
[ BLAM! ]
[ Greedo falls, dead ]
Now that would be nice to see.
Your wish has come true Ric - you are the star of this scene I have re-edited :)

My pleasure :)
I have a surprise for good 'ol Ric 'The Hyperdrive is Leaking' Olie :D
ImperialFighter said:I prefer it with Han's line too, however this is the way I'd REALLY have liked George to have originally ordered this scene -
Greedo: 'I've been looking forward to this for a long time'
[ BLAM! ]
[ Greedo falls, dead ]
Han: 'Yes, I bet you have....'
:)

mrbenja0618 said:Ok, back on topic.... So can we really get the Tantive IV on Dagobah in a convincing way?
Yoda's landing on Dagobah (a deleted scene from ROTS) can be used, though it can be tweaked and the Tantive IV can then be inserted into the shot.
EyeShotFirst said:that is what it would have looked like
Awesome :)
Look at this -

Sorry about the saber and how it's shaped - it's from a comic book or novel.
Good Lord! You're right! It's always hard to change things like that especially when they're at different angles (obviously because of the different camera setup shots).
TV's Frink said:brash_stryker said:The problem with the Obi Wan Kenobi: Space Detective storyline is that it goes absolutely nowhere and makes not only him, but the entire Jedi order look like retards because even after unconvering an obvious conspiracy, they do nothing about it, but instead play right into its hands.
And specifically, the map reader scene really makes Obi Wan look like an idiot. It's a very cool looking scene, but he really couldn't figure out that the planet was erased from the archive? Even after mentioning himself the effects of gravity still remaining? He never even considered flying off to where the planet should be? Maybe if the youngling who had the right answer had also trained Anakin, the empire would never have been born...
Holy Good Glavin!!!!! With the reasoning and the wit and the Ooooooobi-Wan is a dumbass theory; I'd say this is a good point :)
vaderios said:Darth Chronus said:I just realised something.
Well i always thought that vader throws the saber and imediately summons it again. ( we have to see it swinging in the air and cutting more metal).
I had point that vader when walking down the stairs he holds the saber and its on(shadow) even the rotoscopers wanted not to show it ignited.
Like i said a good scene is that vader force saber throws and summons in the air. He is vader after all :D
-Angel
I copy Gold Leader :)
I just realised something.
When Vader throws his saber at Luke and after Luke falls down with that gantry, Vader's saber would be on the floor somewhere (near the bottom of the steps perhaps). I think it would be awesome to show Vader quickly summoning it with the Force into his hand and then he can activate his saber once he's down the steps like he does in the film itself :)
vaderios said:Well yes. At least now the movie looks decent.
IMO always :)
EDIT: experiment with some exterior structure.
-Angel
Phenomenal. Just one suggestion - where the window is, and where the Death Star surface is, I think there should be a small hint of sunlight coming from the sun on the other side of Endor, other than that - phenomenal :D
And @ BB-J, well hopefully this sort of stuff will become a reality (and should become a reality) come 2012/3.
Angel my man, that is terrific! Great idea and this should seriously be considered for ROTJ:R :)
Maybe you could add Palpatine leaning out of his seat to look at what Vader does, but that might be difficult I suppose. Impressive, most impressive.
Edit: Scratch that idea, actually.
JediMasterFisher said:yes! put the ghost of Qui Gon in ROTS! it helps seeing the ghost of obi wan later make more sense!
Yes! I agree.
Ady made sure those aliens and Greedo blinked in the Cantina and he could easily manipulate Obi-Wan so that he kind of blinks when he see's Qui-Gon's ghost directly (since he's obviously amazed at what - or should I say who he's looking at).
