A Frightening Possibility

This isn't exactly the same thing, but in Back to the Future 2, there was a newspaper headline that read "Thumb Bandits Strike Again" based on the fact that people could pay for things by scanning their thumb print, and hence people were cutting said thumbs off of people to gain acess to their money. Well the same thing applies here. If you pay for something with a micro chip in your hand, then someone is going to start cutting off hands. And then there is the whole "end of the world" deal.

Have you read any of Ross' current series "Justice"? The artwork there is amazing too and it is largely a retelling of the Superfriends/Legion of Doom conflict with a much more modern sensiblity and some awesome, awesome visuals. No giant Darth Vader head though; it doesn't need it!

What is his deal? Sure, the plot of LXG was largely mangled, but I've heard good thigns about From Hell and V. It seems to me he is just being difficult about it.

It's not really that hard to see his point of view. He wrote a story intended for a certain medium, and that medium was comics. It doesn't seem that strange to me that he just isn't interested in seeing his work manipulated into another medium, whether the end result may be good or bad.

Hm... I guess you could come from that perspective. I on the other hand, would be thrilled to have anything I wrote adapted into a [good] movie, so I guess it is just a different perpsective on things. If the media is really harrasing him about it and he honestly doesn't give a flip, then more power to him, I say.

Alan Moore has never seen any film adaptation of his work and never will. He even divided up his paycheck on this to the other members of the creative force of the book.

Harrison: "Do I look like a fanboy?"
George: "No, you look like a 41 year old man trying to immitate a comic book character you obviously know very little about."
Harrison: "Shut up George."

Maybe Kal-L will knock some sense into him...

Though it really looks like he and Lois were the only sane people in the Paradise dimension. Superboy-Prime is like a deranged kid with a chaingun who thinks he is right. He has an enourmous power but not the emotional maturity or mental capacity to use it judiciously. Hence Pantha looses her head.

On the other hand, a friend of mine thinks that he is actually going to survive the Crisis and become a recurring villain.
