You know, I'd never really had a problem with console names. Playstation, X-Box, Gamecube, who cares what they call them? It's what the games look and play like that matters.

Wii does bother me slightly because though I pesonally don't care what it's called, it could potentially give the thing a negative stigma in the market place. Plus it's easy to make urine jokes about it.

On the subect of church desecration, it's a question of intent. After all, it was just a set, not a real church anyway. But the point is, they chose to film a pointless scene of Batman desecrating a sanctuary before climbing the bell tower for the actual fight. That's what I had the problem with then and now. It was the intent behind it that I think was less than noble, both to the story and to Christians. I'm no Bible-thumper by a LONG shot, but this always got under my skin.


Hm.. what action by Batman exactly are you talking about?

Well, she is doing a rape scene in an upcoming movie... And with hollywood's track record, this will lead to other things and eventually a criminal record. Or of course, she'll become a scientologist. I've never looked for my role models in hollywood or tv or music, but I know a lot of my generation does. And the fact that $0.50, Emenim, and Pee Ditty are considered such awesome guys and are role models... it scares me. Hopefully this will be a wakeup call for Osment.
