Still, that insult to Warbler was uncalled for; you're supposed to be the webmaster but you leveled an insult that sounds like it came from the average troll. You think that doesn't reflect badly on you?

I'll learn to live with myself.

If you say so. Just don't expect people to be this civil with you about it.

I hate Cartoon Network in general anymore. They seem absoultey intent on destroying their good shows (Justice League, Titans, IGPX, etc) and hyping the crap out of 'Fosters' 'Camp Lazlo' 'Gym Partner's a Monkey' and 'Ben 10'....

And 80% of the shows on adult swim are horrible. The only things I watch are (occasionally) Futurama, Family Guy, and Full Metal Alchemist.

*facepalm*

Here we go again.

BTW, Jay, I've never defended Dayv's actions with the PMs. Dayv may have been doing things that annoyed you, but he clearly had the fanedit link in his signature long before this fighting broke out. I've said from the beginning I think EVERYONE involved overreacted, and I only wanted to try and keep the community of the Off Topic forum from fracturing. Just a pipe dream now, but what can you do? Still, that insult to Warbler was uncalled for; you're supposed to be the webmaster but you leveled an insult that sounds like it came from the average troll. Ah, screw it, I'll do it...

Has anyone read Knightfall? Or at least Part One of it? I did this week, and I have to say, the quality of it is pretty sketchy in writing and artwork save for the last two stories...

I enjoyed the Knightfall series--all three volumes. It was certainly different than modern Batman comics, but it has a strange energy that the current Morrison and Dini stories lack.

So much for civility.

Whether Warlber overreacted or not isn't the issue. The issue is that the WEBMASTER of the site leveled a completely ridiculous and unwarranted attack at the guy for simply questioning why the moderators are SO QUICK when it comes to censoring links to the website that rhymes with dan redited...

But things like trolls and spam that needed to be censored were left ignored. This whole fight is retarded. It involves nearly every party acting like highschoolers (No offense, sean wookie) or worse. It needs to stop or everyone is going to stay at each others throats until the only people left here are the newbies that fill the General Star Wars forum.

Gaffer: Return of the Joker is a great movie. I found the uncut version at Sam Goody for $16, so it shouldn't be that hard to find or that expensive if you know where to look. You really don't need to know anything about Batman Beyond but the basic premise to enjoy it, either.

And if all else fails, you could always try to find it on the internet, with legal or non-legal methods.

I don't doubt it at all.

Honestly, I almost never use any section of this site but Off Topic anymore. General Starwars is a mess, OT vs SE is played out, and I'm not into fanedits or preservation.

This is quite true, Chalts. Can't remember the last time I posted in the other forums. Off-topic is my bookmark, which is sad. However, I totally believe what Jay has said, in that the other forums are more active than Off-top.

Hah, you've only got it as a bookmark? It's my HOMEPAGE.

Honestly, part of the appeal of this forum to me is that it's not OMG!SUPERMASSIVE or a tiny niche thing. Cliche as that sounds.

Batman forever was presented as being in the same continuity, but considering that pretty much EVERYTHING changed, including the actor that played Batman and Harvey Dent, (Or 'Harvey Two-Face' as Shumacher insisted on calling him)... the look of the mansion, the seriousness factor of the universe...

The Schumacher moves could easily and reasonably be considered their own continuity.
