Well I assume they would be equally crappy. Slave to drugs, or slave to a man, take your pick.

But it depends largely on who the master of the slave is or what drug you use. Not all southern slaves were like Uncle Tom's Cabin, and not all drugs mess up your life.

But most do.

Maybe does some mental good in the short-run, but, as bad as slavery was in some cases, it put food on the table.

I'm not saying that slavery is preffereable to drugs, I am just saying that they are different types of vices, not to be compared.

I hate it when have a headache and need to go to bed, but am too addicted to the computer to get off of it.

I also hate homework on weekends.

I hate it when girls say "I just want to be friends" Even though that has only happened to me once.

Agreed. It's scary how young kids are being exposed to stuff these days--like seven year olds listening to gangsta rap and stuff. Videogames are just one part of it.

And also, there was no nude code in Tomb Raider. It was just a rumor.

Believe it or not, this has gone on for years. I played Moral Kombat all the time when I was nine, and you don't see me upercutting peoples heads off.

Granted, there is a lot more stuff in GTASA than violence, but the point I'm making is not that they should or shouldn't be playing it. That's a given. My point is: don't be shocked. It's nothing new. Just pray for them or something.

As much as trailers sucked in the 70s and 80s, at least they didn't spoil anything from ESB and RoTJ like the fact that Luke was Vader's son. Or that Vader killed Palpatine.

Right. I was just saying that to dis-like a game, you have to have a game that you do like to compare it to. But with Halo, there were few games to compare it to, because it was the only great XBox game for the first year.

How it stacks against the other king Console FPS: I think that the single player game is better than Perfect Dark, but there is something about being able to single handedly mow down armies in PD that holds a special place in my heart. And PD wins in multiplayer hands down.

As for Goldeneye, I havent played enough of it to compare.

What are you comparing it to, then? How can you say a game sucks when it was the very first shooter to coe out for XBox?

That would be like me saying in 1985 that Super Mario Bros is over rated--What would I be comparing it to?
