As many immigrants as there are around here, I'm going to need to know spanish. Not that immigrants are a bad thing, mind, just that the fact that there are so many means Mexico's government needs to quit fracking around and HELP THEIR PEOPLE... is that so much to ask?

So basically, I hate the political and economic status of Mexico and want to slap whatever idiots let it get so out of hand down there.

It's basically a huge fight between ever pop-culture icon of the past three decades and several farther back than that. Plus it has a really catchy song.

Ugh... Cartoon Network is gradually replacing all their good stuff in favor of badly dubbed anime and stupid programming target at the lowest common denominator.

(I swear, there is this new show called "RobotBoy"... I see one episode where a bunch of stuff gets blasted, like a big war, but I only catch the very end of it. The next episode, I'm busy playing a DS game, but I can still hear the show in the back ground, and the main human character is trying to teach the Robotboy why being a bully is bad, completely with patronizing speaches and the works. Ugh.)

Look at Justice League--possibly the best show on the network, IMO: They put it on hiatus for months to show an anime series called Bobobo-Bo-Bobo, about a guy with a big affro and a mustache that doubles as a pair of whips, who figths the evil "head-shavers"...

They dropped FRIGGIN' JUSTICE LEAGUE for this crap!

Anybody else reading the Dark Nest Trilogy? I'm about two thirds of the way through the final book, and while I really liked the first two, this one has some places where it felt like Denning was going too far. Otherwise, pretty good.
