I only hope X-Play along with Morgan and Adam's careers can be salvaged and run with by a better network. The blame falls entirely on G4--the moment they bought out Tech-TV, the entirity of it went down hill, and as cool as The Next Generation is, it is also old news. What they really need to do is drop the stupid HIP GANSTA shows, not to mention Brainiac and BarbWireBiscuit, and quit having their celebrties act like idiots on TV.

AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, WOULD SOMEONE FIRE DIANE MIZOTA ALREADY!?

If there wasn't dependency on foreign oil we wouldn't have sugar-coated our relations with the @#!$ terrorists in the first place and there would have been no 9-11 and no War on Terror. Like Bush said, hindsight alone isn't wisdom, and cutting the funds to the troops is like saying "we sent you over there, but now we've given up and are going to let you all be killed horribly by Zarkawi's men"

Indeed. In retrospect, a lot of what was done against the USSR has come back to bite us in the butt, but hindsite is 20/20, they say. And as one president once said, hindsight alone is not wisdom.

As for military history, I agree that WWII is one of the most interesting eras in all of world history, if for no other reason than it was more clear then than at any other time who were the good guys and who were the bad guys.

Oh yeah, Adam. Because poverty is ALL the government's fault and it's THEIR JOB to fork over money to help people fix their horrible condition that they were OPRESSED into.

Get real. The only real solution to poverty is to work your way out of it. The Government isn't here to dole out billions of dollars to people who've had too many kids and now can't afford them all or people just too lazy to work. It's not cruelty to not help someone that it's not in your power to help, and the government simply CAN'T help everyone that doesn't have an income.

Granted, 120 billion dollars for the war is stretchng the budget, but I don't think THAT is the part of it that needs to be cut. Most politicians are independently wealthy; they can afford less exorbiant salaries. And the Lord knows how overgrown welfare has become. Ween everyone who doesnt' really need it off, and THERE's your balanced budget.
