Help: looking for... where I can find old wcbs-2 news broadcasts?
Time

I am looking for a specific wcbs news broadcast from 1995, and I don’t know where to look. I knew that it’s possible that some of you have a copy of this specific broadcast, but it is unlikely. I know not the month, nor the day, nor the hour, but I can tell you the subject matter. It involved baby security in a hospital. As you might have guessed, the content of this news broadcast is personal to me. I once had a decent recording of it, but 7-year-old me thought that it needed more sports and other nonsense, and partially wiped the recording. Recently, I tried their website but it was broken. I then called them, but after a long line of redirecting, there were only broadcasts from a couple years ago.

I know the chances of this specific broadcast surviving are nil, but if one of you can find it, I will be very grateful.

Look out, white clothed person! An incredibly fake illustration of the Millennium Falcon and obviously photoshopped flames are about to squash you!

...sorry, I couldn't resist...or that that pic seriously :P

edit: look at the right of the ship. Notice how poorly edited the falcon is to that image...

FAIL!

Request: Could someone please do an updated edit of 'Army Of Darkness'?
Time

jedimasterobiwan, if you don't want to be considered bantha fodder by TV's Frink, let alone many other members of the forums, I have some advice for you.

If you want something done, you have to do it yourself.

All of us have our own lives. Some of us, like me, are still in school. Some of us are married and have children. Some of us have no idea what you are referring to by "army of darkness", and even for those that do, it is highly unlikely that they will be willing to make a fanedit just because you asked for it. Do you have the dvd and the french blu-ray? Perhaps a big enough hard drive and a blu-ray drive? Maybe a decent video editing package? There is nothing stopping you from making such a fan edit yourself. In fact, by doing so, your reputation might improve from one who receives to one who gives. You know exactly what you want. If you put your mind to it, I'm sure the job can be accomplished. However, you must know that almost nobody will do it for you.

What was the logic of the VCR/Blu-ray combo?
Time

While many of us still have VHS tapes that we care about, especially in cases of home movies or films that have never been released in any other format, the idea of combining a VHS recorder with a Blu-ray player seems odd for one specific reason: the existence of D-VHS. While it is way to late to think about such things, I would have liked a D-Theater compatible D-VHS/Blu-ray combo. Such a move could have revived interest to D-VHS, being the HDTV-compatible recording format that it is, while still letting people watch VHS and S-VHS tapes on the HDTV's in relatively decent quality.

How come no company put two and two together and made a D-VHS/Blu-ray combo?

Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)
Time

Usenet, public torrent sites, private torrent sites like myspleen, etc. Apparently, the project blu release has only been...released...for ANH. If you still want a GOUT based source, Dark Jedi's v3 dvd's are available for ESB and ROTJ, though I would recommend the -1 Grindhouse for the former and the X0 JSC ROTJ rip for the ladder, on the grounds that it lacks DVNR.

Help: looking for... the 1997 special edition preservations

Harmy also did a "Respecialized" Edition, which is the 1997 SE, for ANH. I don't know if he's intending on doing the same for ESB and ROTJ, though.????

That would be very cool. I hope he does ESB and ROTJ whenever he gets the chance. So I can have an alternate way of watching the set that I have. Thank you guys for your help. :)????

I can copy and paste and add four question marks too, Gul Idbtao -.- .

[sarcasm]I like how your first post is a month-bump and a copy and paste job with four question marks added. [/sarcasm]

Some might consider it spam, others might ignore you (click the ignore button and then they never see your posts again. This is your first post so you might not have known that). Regardless, you made a bad first impression here. We have no idea if you are a bot or someone who genuinely wants to join the forums. Just be glad that it was me making a joke about your first post and not TV's Frink. He is not as forgiving as I am. *cue ROTJ Imperial March*
