Many of the names in SW are goofy...lol we're just used to them.

I guess it would depend what's covered in the tv series. I was under the impression that the show would feature young Luke or any of the main movie characters.

In any case I'm sure the Empire would still be a part of the show and something from it could be used for edits. Heck even the ewok movies might have footage that can be used for RoTJ.

It's funny because they sorta randomly threw in Chewbacca, R2 & 3Po...but really Tarkin would have been more fun to see in action as a younger / sinister up and comer.

Anyway a few more Tarkin cameos would be interesting but it's a shame he can't be integrated into the story somehow.

From what I can tell those clips of brief battle footage probably could work if used properly in the battle of Endor.

Question - has a ROTJ edit ever been made by anyone whose tried using parts of that footage?

I agree, I wouldn't have Yoda using the term younglings.

It's an interesting idea and it would sorta connect things. But I think it fits into that category of messing with the OT (the superior trilogy) to fit the PT (inferior trilogy).

Here's something that might be interesting to see. Actaully I just read this idea from a comment on tfn who was speaking about a comment someone made on aicn....lol, ideas travel.

I can't recall reading about this before in here so I just figured I'd throw it out there. I guess it would entail reworking the scene a bit and somehow turning the solid Jabba into a hologram. And potentially making it so Han walks straight as opposed to stepping up.

Not sure if its even possible though.

In my experience many of the the blu-ray forum members range from insane to trollish to morons.

It's still not half as bad as theforce.net though.

On that site you can't even curse or say anything remotely "offensive". I'm not even saying I want to sit there and curse away. But realistically it's like walking on damn glass.

I don't know what planet those mods and admins are living on. Being on that forum means you have to talk as if you are in the middle of a G rated movie theater. It's as if the place if filled with toddlers and hypersensitive parents who will throw you out if you say one thing that makes their ears bleed or their children cry.

But oddly enough, every now and then some jackass can give you a sarcastic, cunty answer or something clearly trollish, but if you talk back to them you'll get warned or banned.

The over sensitivity and blatant hypocrisy is beyond ridiculous

But seriously, it's cool to read you'll be giving AnH another look. Not that I don't already consider AnHR my personal favorite version to watch of the movie.

Also Jai is going to send me a good quality sound clip of that Obi-wan dialogue so once I remake the altered version I'll post it and you can use it if you want. Also let me know if there's any thing else along the way in terms of audio that you think you might like to hear modified or tweaked.
