Added the Arrow release of The Thing (1982) to celebrate going Region Free on Blu-Ray. Also got The Man Who Laughs (1928) and The African Queen (1951) Masters of Cinema editions.
Are there any plans for a full-on rescoring? I felt that the music was a letdown compared to Gorannson’s Mandalorian and especially Williams’ Skywalker Saga.
Added 49th Parallel Criterion Laserdisc. Weeded Snow White VHS (upgraded that film to Japanese Bilingual Laserdisc last year), Bridge to Terabithia Fullscreen DVD, Lawrence of Arabia Widescreen VHS and Captain America: First Avenger DVD.
I liked how Adywan extended the Alderaan explosion in the SD version of Revisited.
Book of Boba Fett Spoilers
For a similar expansion, I would suggest using digitally altered clips from Book of Boba Fett Episode 5’s destruction of Mandalore scene before cutting to Jar-Jar and Bail then cutting to the planet exploding from space. Thus you don’t have what is obviously Earth from the SD version’s Star Trek: Enterprise footage.
If you wanted to do an updated version of this edit, there’s a 35mm scan of the Theatrical Cut that could be used to improve picture quality and remove the shimmering on the opening scene.

Don’t the Laserdisc versions gradually speed up over the course of the movie, though?
Only some Pan & Scan versions of Star Wars & Empire are sped up. All LDs of Jedi, The Pan & Scan CAV editions of Star Wars & Empire and all letterboxed versions of the trilogy are proper NTSC speed.
As for me, I mostly use the JSC Laserdisc whenever I watch the OT.

I would like the prequel edits to maintain a consistent aesthetic with the theatrical cuts of the OT (the monitor displays should be less advanced than the OUT’s, not more.)

You could use some of the flashback of Mandalore being destroyed for an expanded Alderaan explosion in a custom SE.
My first movie purchases of 2022 were The Red Shoes (1948) Criterion Laserdisc and The Exorcist (1973) Fullscreen Laserdisc. I also sold the 4K UHD of The Shining (1980).
If you’re willing to go for an SD release, the 1997 Snapcase DVD of T2 has the original CDS 5.1 mix encoded as Dolby Digital 5.1, and sounds better than any of the Blu-Rays.
My last haul of 2021 got me the Criterion Laserdisc of Bad Day at Black Rock (1955).
For Christmas I got The Red Shoes (1948) 4K and Queen: Live in Budapest DVD.

Jaws (1975)'s 5.1 mix heard on all streaming versions uses a different recording of Man Against Beast from the one in the theatrical mono.
Get the Revenge of the Jedi poster. The first two posters were used for the UK 1994 Widescreen VHS, and the Revenge poster was used for ROTJ’s 1994 UK Widescreen VHS.
