Weeded the Pan & Scan VHS of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Weeded the Pan & Scan VHS of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The Maltese Falcon (1941) is a remake of a 1931 pre-code film of the same name. The 1941 film is a masterpiece.
Added:
Really wanted to see Empire of Dreams on the big screen and uncensored again.
What are all the differences between the version on disc and the one on Disney+?
Some of the theatrical clips were replaced with SE clips on the D+ version
Added the Laserdisc of THX 1138 to my collection.
Got the Indiana Jones Trilogy Japanese Laserdisc boxset. Weeded the Pan & Scan VHS of Last Crusade and the DVD of Temple of Doom.
A Serbian Film - the initial US Blu-Ray is missing a minute of footage, which was restored for the recent Unearthed Films release
Either Jaws (1975) or Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) would be my pick.
Added the 50th Anniversary Deluxe VHS Boxset of It’s a Wonderful Life. Weeded the movie only VHS and colorized DVD of the same film.
E.T. on Atari 2600 is merely average, not terrible. There are far worse games on Atari 2600, such as Karate or Custer’s Revenge.
Blackened Mantle is pretty good
What is that?
Blackened Mantle is a Japanese language Prequel 3-in-1 edit where footage from Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones is used as flashbacks during Revenge of the Sith.
I just donated 30 krona (USD$3.50) to help.
I added the AC3 Laserdisc of Days of Heaven (1978) and the ROAN Group Laserdisc of T-Men & Raw Deal (1947/1948) to my collection.
Shouldn’t this thread be in the Fan Edits of Other Properties subforum?
This is my Sight & Sound Top 10 list

The Thief of Bagdad (1940)
Fantasia (1940)
Gun Crazy (1950)
The Tales of Hoffman (1951)
Ikiru (1952)
Rear Window (1954)
Barry Lyndon (1975)

As I mentioned in the PT thread, the Deutsch-Grammophon album Across the Stars has violin arrangements of Yoda’s theme, Rey’s theme, Across the Stars and Luke & Leia that could be useful in a rescored edit.
JEDIT: This is a serious suggestion
I sold my 97SE VCD copy. That set came from Hong Kong, and was NTSC encoded.
Just added Visions of Light (1992), a documentary about cinematography to my Laserdisc collection. I also found the Extreme Edition DVD of Terminator 2 (1991) locally and bought it. I also ordered a VHS copy of The Mask of Dimitrios (1944) on eBay.
I feel that you should submit this edit to fanedit.org’s IFDB.
The Special Widescreen Edition versions are the best release of the OT on the Laserdisc format (or any format). Clear picture without noise reduction, amazing cover art, and incredible sound. In my opinion, Definitive Collection is too rot-prone and has worse color timing, and Faces is the same transfer.
This edit looks great on my 1080p projection setup. I especially loved the removal of Rey Palpatine, and the force ghost scene.
Pokemon X is way too easy to be any fun. I much prefer the fair challenge of Fire Red.
Do you think deepfakes are advanced enough to do a younger Tarkin in ROTS via using the early Hammer films he was in as reference for facials?

For the Criterion flash sale, I added The Thief of Bagdad (DVD), 12 Angry Men (DVD), The Ascent (Blu-Ray) and The Parallax View (Blu-Ray) to my collection.
HAL 9000’s edit removes Vader yelling no, and is mostly the 1997 Special Edition cut.
