It seems that everytime this year I get royally pissed at Brett Favre...and then fall in love and forgive him as soon as the preseason starts. Hey, while I wish the Packers had beaten the Vikings (i have to live in this state...yuck), I am realistic enough to know that neither team is gonna be getting any farther.

And besides, we won the more important games this year. Plus we didn't resort to obscene gestures to show our superiority.

WHAT?!?!??!?!?!? HOW CAN YOU SAY ENTERPRISE SUCKS?????

Ok, calming down. Anyways, Enterprise doesn't suck. How can a series suck that involves a year long story arch against an actual threat to Earth, involve anything called a "Temporal Cold War", and even have the Romulan Wars?? Yes, there have been some gay episodes (such as the Vulcan AIDS one, but then every Star Trek show has to throw a couple of crappy 'social issue' episodes in), but overall the show has been incredibly strong, especially these last two years.

...Enterprise sucks...hah!

Can we have a moment of silence for this great man, the Minister of Defense? He played for I think 15 years for both Philly, the Packers, and then Carolina. He set career records as well as touched the lives of many different people.

I actually personally knew him and his family. I lived for eight years in Green Bay, and went to school with his kids. His eldest son and I would get in fights all the time. I knew his cousins at one point and his wife and I recognized each other enough to be on first name basis. I actually supposedly met him once, but I don't remember it, although my parents do. Nonetheless, he was a cool guy, and it's sad to hear about his death, especially on a day like this.

I don't see how TNG could be more interesting. They had very little character development, didn't really go out and DO anything...the better episodes such as Best of Both Worlds and Time's Arrow were different and good because they took chances and did things. Granted, Q was on NextGen, and I love Q, and I do enjoy NextGen, but compared to a show that had a seven year storyarch and had a freaking war going on (and no, Avery Brooks does NOT overact!!!), NextGen pales in comparison. Besides, it didn't have Robert Wolfe.

And as for that Gene Roddenbery guy...well, GL might have created StarWars, but does he do it best? At some point both Star Trek and Star Wars need to continue without their creators...the Star Trek people have already made the mistake to try to keep all of GR's humanistic philosophies going, but since most of those died with Freud and Stalin, it's time for them to move on to greater and better things...like story instead of message.

Oh c'mon! At least the campaign in Halo2 had a story beyond "Blow Halo"! Halo2 is far superior to Halo, in just about everyway...except 2. The first, they got rid of individual health bars. The second, they downgraded the pistol and failed to give the battle rifle an auto setting as opposed to the burst feature.

But beyond those two things...Halo2 is far better than Halo.
