NON-Star Wars Fan Edit and Alternate DVD Covers SHOWCASE
Time
I just got an email from Jim Bowers at CapedWonder.com. There is a little DVD art contest for the new Donner Cut of Superman 2. He says...

"I’d like submissions of good quality, well laid out DVD art (front, back covers and spine) for the upcoming Superman II: the Richard Donner Cut. I’d also like to get artists to send me their version of the ultimate Donner Cut one sheet movie poster."

"I will be sending winning and runner-up submissions to Michael Thau, editor of the Donner Cut, and Richard Donner.

I will put ALL submissions on CW.com on the DVD page and visitors can e-mail me their votes between the time the first submissions are posted and November 27. The winners and runner-ups will be announced a few days later (depending on holiday schedules)."

Have Fun!!!

SUPERMAN RETURNS REVIEW
Time
I thought it was pretty good, but had potential to be better...

Routh did a really good job. His persona really tied in with Reeve's very well. They didn't have to turn him into a Super-stalker though.

Lois was way off. She came across as a preppy high-school girl that treated Clark like poop. (THAT relationship was REALLY lacking) They tried to give Lois so much strength that she pretty much did not show any sort of fear... like she really did not need Superman at all. Margot Kidder knew when to turn on the screams in the face of death and made scenes more believable. I guess having a kid as a teenager does that. *shrugs*

Character building was there, but the character depth really wasn't. I think that Lois kept it from being as awesome as I was hoping it would be. That is just me, though.
