and
http://orangecow.org/starwars/swcovers-nonocp/esbredvaderwtext-coov.jpg
I just like the uniformity of the bars running across the top and bottom on both, and I like the style of the posters (sorry, I'm not up on different poster designs so I really don't know what the "style" letters would be for them, or their origins) as they seem to have similar characteristics in so far as they both have an almost cartoon/comicbook-like feel to them. Like I said, I don't know the different poster variants, so I don't know if there is an ROTJ poster that could be used that would have a similar feel, I was just wondering if Coov had something like that in the works. I'd be very curious to see the 3 different covers that you said he's created for ROTJ so far though! Everything he's put together has been pretty impressive.

Not to many posters to choose from... but to at least keep it consistent'ish with the other covers I used the Revenge poster.

They are pretty scattered. Most, if not all, are found throughout the covers thread. OCP set some aside HERE...

Ahhh... well, these ROTJ classic editions are just at the concept stage at the moment. Captain Orange Cow will need his stamp of approval. There is the text n' stuff that will need to be decided on.
It will be posted when ready, I assure you.

Coov,
First, i must say that in my quest to find the "perfect covers," all my selections are from your collection.
i was also wondering if you were considering doing a bonus material cover for this set.
thanks.
I was not considering it... there are too many sets, and I am just too lazy!

Should be pretty easy for someone to manipulate one to make a bonus disk.

Christians are first and foremost those who chose the Truth of Christ, that He died on the cross to pay our wage of sin (Romans 6:23), defeated death by raising on the third day (Romans 4:24). From a non believers point of view that all sounds ridiculous, impossible etc... But let me tell you something... On this side of Grace, it is an absolute, tangible, and joyful Truth that I would not trade with my life. The enlightenment through Christ is the most rewarding and humbling aspects of who I am. There is so much to it and is so complicated, yet so very simple. Of course there are so many that scoff and scowl at what they don’t understand. There are powers of this world that feed toward the hate of what we know as the Truth. Why do they care so much about belittling us in what we know to be true? Why is what the Christians believe drive so many to anger rather that just shrug their shoulders and go on with their lives like they treat other religions?
The problem with Christianity today is the lack of recognition of the objective reality of it. Much of Christianity is conforming to the worlds standards by molding, and making the Word of God to fit their needs. A Christ that wants to be personal desires a closeness through a relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit, not created personal in the aspect of conforming Him to YOUR needs. It all boils down to our need for Him... The deterioration of this world and our sinful nature draws us closer to Him. Our need for Him is key to His intentions and we are rewarded with our choice. We all have the choice to chose or reject that Truth.

You can copyright the images in a film that show Darth Vader, you can copyright a script in which Darth Vader appears, you can copyright promotional still photos of Darth Vader -- you can even copyright the soundtrack where you hear Darth Vader.
But what you can't copyright is the shape and colour of Darth Vader's costume, say. Nor can the person who creates Darth Vader have anything to say about photos or artwork created by others that feature the likeness of Darth Vader. If you go out and create your own Darth Vader costume, that's not illegal. If you take photos of it, then you hold the copyright on those photos. And if you want to sell those photos or the suit, I don't think that's illegal. (See paragraph one about me not being a lawyer, though: this stuff should really be checked...)
What I'm sayin' is, I think if you drew your own Darth Vader, or X-Wing, or such-and-such, then you can do with that what you want. You can't stick a "Star Wars" logo on it, but you can make your own logo and put that on it.
Maybe that's a little more flexible?

I hope that is the case. That would make our job a lot easier.... how would we find out for sure? I'd hate to make assumptions to turn this into a legal fiasco. Maybe Zion already has an answer lined up.

I am assuming anything that exists via Lucasfilm can not be touched legally. Though the final X0 product will not be purchasable, this merchandise will be, hence a violation of its usage. That limits us to our own creativity. It is a shame, because utilizing these copyrighted images would make it easier to put focus on a Star Wars element that could represent the project. Like having a silhouette of Vader, lightsabers, logos, etc. Am I on the right track with my thinking, or am I mistaken?
