I tip my hat to the X0 team and their dedication, but I am sure that they would all agree that their sacrifice for this SUCCESSFUL CAUSE (WooHoo!!!) is miniscule in comparison to the pain and suffering (hence the need of HOPE) for the other causes for "Spark."
Not belittling the efforts of the X0 team mind you. We all know the money, talent and effort it took for the team to get as far as they did... It would be a calling to help a mere inconvenience rather than a cry for a Hope that should never be lost.
I am just glad all of this happened before all of the T-shirts got printed! LOL!

That one is OK.... but the art just does not do anything for me. It looks like a concept piece that never really got completed by the real artist. It just looks forced. ....if that makes sense.

I liked that one OK... but with the larger scan of the one that you used for Classic Empire was IDEAL. (Thanks for those BTW!!!) I wanted to re-work this set because of your scans were better than what I had before. I enlarged Luke a bit to help it out a bit.

You and I had the exact same problem during Classic Edition really .... the released poster is great, but there aren't any good "cast montage" type paintings apart from that, they're all pretty poor.
The saber poster I never liked, but I like how you use it here for what it's worth.
The blood poster with Luke and Vader is good for what it is ... but maybe you can come up with a clever way of using the released poster in a way that's different? The "blood red" take on it that you wound up doing for Classic Edition worked. Anyway.

No Doubt! I have always liked the saber poster. It is my favorite of all Jedi posters.... simply because of the few we had to choose from. I love the released poster, but I was wanting something completely different for this set and that one is WAY overused due to lack of options. I am manipulating that poster to see what I can come up with. Looks promising.... different anyway.

Great little tutorial, Pepsi. I just want to add for everyone else... don't be afraid of layers and their overlaying effects.
Personally, I don't use masks and filters. All of that pretty much comes from preferences if the direction you take. The cool think about Photoshop is there are so many ways to do so many different things. It just takes a bit of playing around to figure out which ways are best for you.

It was kinda just a concept thing I did. I loved the way the Star Wars cover turned out so much more than the others that I just went with that. If I would actually release it I would probably do something a little different. I love the classic feel of it and the fact that is way different than anything else.
I think Pepsi may have inspired me to develop more of a complete set. With as many ideas I have thrown out there, It would be fun to develop my own definitive set rather than just testing the waters with concepts and ideas.

Your work is not that bad Coov, but I'd love to see how you expand upon a lot of your ideas and go the extra mile to give them an extra flare. That's really what design is all about. As a tip, I always found small movie titles on the side of dvds hard to read. Perhaps in your next work you can make them more spread out. Also I'd like to see more developed backsides and inserts. Again, sorry for the fuss. I realize you are a very respectable person and I don't want to harm that in any way. Perhaps I was just trying to throw attention away from you.

I can see where you are coming from and your frustration towards my "spotlight". I am not looking for attention, and for the most part can care less wether someone likes my work or not. Sure it is comforting that there are people in here that really enjoy my work... and with as much stuff as I put out there, some of my work is bound to appeal to someone. *shrugs* I enjoy making covers, and others seem to enjoy that I share them. I have no control if they are fussed over or not.
The simplicity of my work not only is a preference of mine and a few others in here... but because there are SOOOO many transfers, edits, etc. that the creators can just take what I have done, and slap whatever the heck they want to on the back. Anyone who feels my work is incomplete looking because of simplicity, complete it to how you see fit. I don't get paid for this, and I would keep doing them if there was no one to share them with. It is all in fun.

There is a selfishness involved to where authority is manifested in the flesh. People put themselves on a pedestal and pretend to be perfect, or brag and banter about how much they know about theology based on other books other than the Word of God, or worse, taking God's Word out of context to try to make themselves right. All of these things are mans failures, and not to mention.... driving those away who are lost and in need of a true love in the name of Christ, and not in the name of religion.
All in all, the simplicity of Christ's love is lost in what man has made it through religion.
1 Corinthians 29: That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30: But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
How many out there proclaim that THEY have something to offer... So many glorify themselves, especially in the name of religion. Those who proclaim only Christ in HIS glory... That is what we all need wether you agree or not. Christianity is about what Christ has done for every single one of us, not what man has raped Christ to be today misleading those who need Him most. As a Christian it is so frustrating to see.
Knowing Christ died for your sinful nature, defeated death and rose again on the third day and is now preparing us a Kingdom, and putting your complete faith in all that He is.... that is what it means to be a Christian. There is a price for rejection, but it is paid for with acceptance. It is a choice we all have. In Christ!

Just a few things...
There is a little black square on the back (on the left side of the cast) that does not quite match the rest.
"Wars" is cut off of the ESB logo on the front.
This one is really picky, but being that I really like what you have done, I think it may help...
The colors on the "Star Wars" poster seems just a little dull in comparison to the other posters used. Select that area and use your "Color Balance" found in your "Image / Adjustments" (assuming you are using Photoshop).
I hope that helps! Great work!!!
