I don’t know how to reply to that. I quite enjoy it. Not sure if Vol. 2 is that much better, I found it to be just as enjoyable.

And we came full circle. IMO the only fan servicey moment in Rogue One was the cantina guys. You could try to argue the Vader scene and 3PO and R2, but I don’t think you’d convince me. So no, I’m not expecting “pandering fan service”, since that doesn’t happen since TFA, and it only happened in TFA because it was necessary.

Honestly several (if not most) shows portray people that would use words like “fuck” everyday several times, so it’s not exactly out of place. At least the shows I watched.

TLJ felt like a character driven story for everyone except our main protagonist. She wasn’t even part of the climax of the movie. The only thing that changed in her was that she had to face and accept the reality of who her parents are. Granted, that’s one hell of a tough challenge and a hard obstacle that she had to overcome, but… it was only there for literally one scene. Then she was basically over it. Finn, Poe, Kylo, Luke, all had an arc. Rey basically didn’t.

Pulp Fiction is brilliant indeed. The only scene I’m not sure “pleases” me is the crazy fetish Zed scene, but it was still “enjoyable”. Definitely his best and a beautifully made movie. I’m a fan of John Travolta in general too, so that helps.

Reservoir Dogs is really good for a directorial debut and it’s infinitely better than several movies, but not the best Tarantino movie imo. I really like the Kill Bills too, but they’re not exactly the ones I like the most.

Jackie Brown - kind of liked it, kind of didn’t. I think it’s my least favorite Tarantino movie to date alongside Death Proof, my favorites being Inglourious Bastards, The Hateful Eight and Django. It’s been a while since the last time I watched Pulp Fiction though, so I might do that tomorrow or tonight.

No need to overreact bud, he simply said that this thread is not exactly the place for one to write a wall of text with their own personal plans and ideas for their own edits, and in your case, of other movies and not only the one the thread is for. What you wrote wasn’t exactly a suggestion to Adywan and it’s not contributing to the topic at hand. But it wasn’t that big of a deal, he just said this is not exactly the place to do that and I agree.

I’m not a fan of saying “Luke’s sister” or “her brother” but oh well what do I know. I really like your crawl except for the final paragraph. I’d switch “a galaxy in peril” to “the galaxy” too, but that’s just me.
