well, obi-wan was lying in the scene where he talks to luke, so it doesn’t really matter. in the scene where he meets vader it does sound awkward since darth is a title, but… “only a master of evil, vader” sounds terrible.

I’d say that she still isn’t convinced to fight for the Rebellion in the Hologram scene. She is actually more interested in finding and rescuing her father. It is only after his death (strangely, at the hands of the Rebellion) that she decides to get the plans. I don’t think she ever really aligns with the Rebellion, more accurate to say that they both have the same objective in the end.
pretty much this. she seemed very antagonistic towards the rebellion during her time in yavin. she was always a lone fighter - but in the scenes where she discovered the truth about her father, she stopped fighting for herself and started fighting for somethng bigger, even if still as a lone wolf. at no point during the film she’s a rebel (as in a member of the rebellion) imo.
now that’s a commment that adds a lot to the discussion

i’ll be rooting for my home country of brazil, naturally. too bad dani alves got injured a couple of weeks ago - we literally have no one else to put in his place. i’ll also be rooting for england. we’ll see how that goes.
I haven’t seen it, but from what I understand, the problem with 13 Reasons Why is mostly due to the way it shows a character using suicide to get back at people who wronged her, which IMO sends a dangerous message to people who are victims of bullying and abuse that are contemplating suicide themselves.
i’ve seen it, and yeah that’s basically it. season 2 is a cash grab though

Worst Set All Weekend Award goes to Led Zeppelin 2, possibly the cringiest tribute band I’ve ever seen.
That is hysterical because I used to have a friend in that band, he was their drummer for a while around 2008 or so. I never saw them play because I was all like “wtf tribute bands suck go make original music”.
There is one tribute band that does NOT suck. “Rain”, a tribute band for the Beatles (there are other good ones as well, but I saw this one). Their shows are immersive and absolutely awesome. Hearing the guitar solo on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” roar to it’s full power across an auditorium is breath taking.

hello possessed. it’s pretty hard for me to give you any sort of advice since i’ve been feeling sort of the same way myself. not only that, but i’ve only been in one relationship in my life, so… yeah.
but i will tell you, that you’re a really nice guy, and that you don’t deserve any of that. i’ve always heard that time can cure anything, and it really can, so maybe try giving it time. and try to be strong now. we’ll be here for you. and, you know, i don’t think she is avoiding you at all, or that she doesn’t want to talk to you, or anything like that. if she was as good to you as you’re saying, i don’t think she’d be doing that to you now at all. maybe something has gotten in the way. probably, actually. then again, maybe not - but i am hoping for the best for you. and if she’s the best for you, then man i hope with all my heart that you guys get back together.
but… it is never good to be that emotionally dependent on anyone. ever. try to be rational man. yes, she’s perfect for you, but i am sure that there are other just as perfect girls out there. it’s pretty hard to accept that right now (or to even want to accept that), but often times it is true too. so, possessed, if it doesn’t work out between you and her, it will between you and someone else. have faith. be strong. and give it time.
possibly shitty advice incoming: all that said, i’m not one who gives up, so i think you should keep trying to reach her. again, i think that something got in the way and that that’s the reason why she didn’t answer yesterday or today. like you said, there’s an infinite number of logical things it could be. so try to reach her again, i remember when you said you guys broke up - and iirc, it wasn’t because she stopped loving you or didn’t want to be with you anymore because it wasn’t working out. and, honestly, i don’t think she ever will stop loving you. from my limited experience, that’s not how these things go.
and you’ll be happy again pal. i believe that. seek out joy in life, and maybe you might end up finding it, not centered around a person, like her. who knows. try to be happy with yourself.

Here is another try at the “Skywalker Lives” ending which finishes on the wide shot of the binary sunset. In my opinion, I like the musical timing of the first version better but like the ending shot of this second version better. I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts.
these are pretty much my thoughts too. i might even prefer the first one due to the musical timing, but both are absolutely fantastic.
