Blade Runner: The Complete Music Collection (work-in-progress)

Where on earth have these 2 come from?  Or are they THE SAME PERSON?  You gotta love it!  This thread has been quiet for a while (with good reason of course focuspuller) .  Perhaps these 2 guys are someone just livening things up for no reason other to entertain (as they see)  or to annoy.. as the rest of us see it :-)  Conjecture.. I admit.  :-)

Wow!  We have our first .. well.. I don't know quite what to say about "yotsuya".  It's quite odd for someone to just pop up into a thread and start advertising other sites and putting down someone's project.. isn't that called "troll spamming?"

Just poping up on a thread? I've been here for quite some time, drawn by my love of Vangelis and Blade Runner. Any comments I have made are in reaction to comments made by others that bear a striking resemblance to what I have to deal with at work. I once was a bit sluggish to say things, but in my current line of work I have come to call people to task for things that they say or post. Just because we are in awe of someone's audio editing talents does not mean I will ingore innapropriate comments.

"Troll Spamming" would be if I had come her for the specific purpose of arguing. I am here for the specific reason of hearing the final creation. I try to be as tactful as I can but I do not appreciate being ignored when I ask a simple why or how question and I will call someone for saying something that comes across as rude. In his reply, Focuspuller stated what he should have said the first time. My job would have been complete but now you seem to want to attack me personally. So be it.

ok.  I admit.  I did try and read as far back as I could on this before posting, but I couldn't see any other post by yourself.  I just thought it was someone who appeared here and just seemed to get offended and start advertising other sites.  If the post of this page was the result of a previous question which had a negative answer, then I now understand why it's got to this point.  I didn't want to seem like I was attacking you personally, but it seemed you were attacking focuspullers project, and as we are all pretty friendly here, you can understand why walking into an argument here is unusual to say the least!

Anyway.  Sorry for the trol spam comment.  I was basing it on what I read on this page and the fact your bio only reads 7 posts. (I don't normally start at the back and read on.. habit I'm afraid).  No hard feelings..

Let's move on :-)

Great to see the updates Focuspuller.  I really can't believe this is going to be 4 discs!  Quite a feat.  As I said before, I have no idea how you are doing all this, but best regards.   Oh, And I promise not to blurt on other threads again!  ;-)

If you need any more images.. I do have a PDF copy of a certain "sketchbook" too.

Have a better one!

I like the new icon btw.

Glad you like the icon. :-) it was a complete byatch to create, re-sizing and compressing the lot!  It's so small, can't believe the amount of time it took  :-0

I'll grab some pics from the pdf.   easier to send.

I have to say, as a big fan, Alien Wars was a lot of fun. I did it summer of 93 in London. It was about 10 minutes long I think. A man in an Alien suit, dark cooridors, an Alien egg I think, screaming marines, great fun. What was fun for me was watching the people I was with freaking out and a few "died" along the way. When you were done, you basiclly just exited next to a window with a few props. Ripley's Reebok sneakers from Aliens were there. I still have the ticket somewhere.

Would be great to have a no holds bared multi-location, big budget version, but this is still a lot of fun. Would love to do it again.

Yup, I did the London War the same year! Summer of 1993. Would LOVE to do it again.

BTW.. how is your project coming along?  ;-)

I went back to the piece "Tales Of The Future" and added a further 11 tracks of music elements into the mix. By doing so, the track has been more correctly mixed and expanded into a more complete version. It has gone from 5:27 to 6:32.

I have no idea how the hell you are doing this, but I really cannot wait to hear it.
